With over 35 years in the game, Kevin Dennis is no stranger to the wedding biz.

At 19 years old, he had one mission: to become a DJ and meet girls. What started out as a superficial goal evolved into a renowned full-service lighting, AV, and entertainment company serving weddings & events in California. Based in Livermore, Fantasy Sound Event Services was only the beginning of Kevin’s deep involvement in the industry.

Kevin quickly found a passion for networking, education, and thought leadership as a way to give back to his community and contribute to the future of the industry. As a sought-after speaker, he has graced stages of every size, from national conferences to association chapter events. He is also a regular contributor to B2B publications, including Catersource and Special Events, and has been featured in Brides, Martha Stewart Weddings, and Travel Channel.

As the President of the NACE Foundation, Kevin has dedicated his career to the growth and development of the wedding industry. In the past, he has served as a trustee for the Foundation and in multiple board positions for the Silicon Valley chapter. He has also served as Director of National Marketing and International President of WIPA for two terms. In addition to industry participation on a national level, Kevin founded the Tri-Valley Wedding Professionals, a regional networking group that has grown to a membership of 700+ pros.

Kevin’s role as the editor of WeddingIQ allows him to promote continuing industry education, along with his two podcasts: Now That I’m Engaged, How Do I Get Married? and Mind Your Wedding Business. Created for engaged couples, the first provides an opportunity for industry pros to discuss wedding planning from an insider’s perspective. The latter offers business-centric education for wedding professionals at all stages of their journey.
