Frequently Asked Questions
How would you define your "style"?
I like to think outside the box! So anything that draws attention and gets people talking, gets the creative juices flowing is what gets my team and I excited!
What does the process of working with your company look like?
I like to be flexible in offerings and in pricing. We have a set pricing schedule from which we start off with, but modifications and changes are necessary to provide the best value for our clients. So the process starts with asking for a quote, we will email you a questionnaire form, then develop an initial quote. From there, we like to meet you and see the venue space either before or after the initial quote. Changes will most likely be made along the way to the quote. Once the quote is agreed to by both us and the bride and groom, we require a signature and a 50% deposit before your wedding date (preferably a week before) then 50% remaining within 30 days post your wedding date.
What is included in your most popular packages?
The most popular are definitely our market lighting and up light packages, with a close second being chandeliers and monograms
What is a unique tip you tell your couples that is specific to your vendor category?
Make sure all functional lighting is covered first before spending money on décor lighting, and even before other budgeted items such as floral and linens. Functional lighting is very important, especially in outdoor situations, for a safety standpoint. Market lights are a great way to provide functional, yet decorative lighting. Once your functional lighting needs are met, then you can proceed to incorporate more décor lighting, such as a projected monogram with your names and wedding date listed on the wall or dance floor for example.
What current trends have you seen at weddings?
Current trends I notice are weddings are taking place more and more in unique venues such as refurbished mansions, lakefront properties, and high end hotels rather than a traditional church for example.
What advice would you give a couple who is starting the search for the perfect venue?
I would suggest to find a perfect venue is start with your wedding date, this will determine if you are mostly going to have an indoor wedding or outdoor wedding. For example, you don’t want to have an indoor wedding when its a beautiful February day in Florida (a wonderful time to be outside in Florida) or you probably don’t want to have an outdoor wedding in the middle of August in Florida unless you want to feel like your wedding is taking place in a sauna or steam room! I think this will narrow down your search then from there I would discuss the best theming or feel you are going for both the bride and the groom. More modern and minimalist would maybe have a wedding in an Art Gallery, whereas a rustic/barn look would have their wedding in the woods (yes, we have done that, and they needed a ton of lights!). So that would narrow your search even more, and from there, at that point would be to determine availability of thee venues left.
