We recommend starting to shop for your wedding dress one year before your wedding. This should give you plenty of time so you don’t have to be stressed or rushed. We recommend doing a lot of research before making appointments rather than overwhelming yourself with going from bridal shop to bridal shop. Get inspired with dresses online. Understand each bridal salon carries different designers and has different price points. Read their reviews online to learn more about the experience of shopping there. Ask your friends and also your venue and other vendors you’ve selected where they would recommend you go.

After completing the research, make a day out of it by planning two different appointments, one in the morning and one in the afternoon with lunch in between. Remember that wedding dress shopping should be a special occasion, not a marathon day. It may be emotional and overwhelming at times!
