Once you have chosen your wedding date and venue, it’s time to start thinking about what to wear!
Just like wedding venues, there are so many gowns to choose from. However, there is always the one that works best for you and your venue. Whether your venue is downtown and modern like the Citrus Club or rustic like Club Lake Plantation, the perfect dress is out there!
The Bridal Finery paired 10 gowns with 10 venues to show you how there is a perfect dress for your perfect venue!
Mission Inn Resort
Mission Inn is known for its gorgeous golf courses and ‘Old Florida’ Spanish feel. From intimate and cozy courtyards to grand ballrooms, each ceremony and reception space is full of design details, staying true to the overall feel of the hotel. A perfect gown for this venue is one that has intricate detail and light fabrics that can blow in the breeze.
Club Lake Plantation
Perfect for a couple that loves the outdoors and romantic southern details, Club Lake Plantation is a venue that brides, grooms, and guests love. Known for their southern charm, a lace wedding gown is perfect for Club Lake Plantation. This off-the-shoulder, mermaid-style Ines Di Santo wedding gown is romantic and perfect for the venue and space.
Paradise Cove
The very Floridian wedding venue, Paradise Cove, is known for their white sandy beaches and relaxed atmosphere. This low back fit and flare wedding gown is perfect for Paradise Cove because just like the venue, it has a ‘destination wedding’ feeling while staying local in Central Florida.
Citrus Club
Located in the heart of Downtown Orlando, the Citrus Club is a chic and modern venue with upscale rooms filled with floor-to-ceiling windows. ‘Olympia’ by Sareh Nouri is a chic one-shoulder silk crepe wedding gown. Complimenting the chic venue, this timeless gown is perfect for the Citrus Club.
The Howey Mansion
Located in Lake County, the Howey-in-the-Hills mansion is a little piece of Floridian history. The completely renovated and redesigned home offers a grand staircase, enchanting walkways, and large courtyard, all perfect for photos. The mansion hosts warm tones throughout the rooms. To complement the space and colors, this classic beaded blush A-line gown by Monique Lhuillier is perfect for the historic Howey Mansion.
Up The Creek Farms
Inspired by Brevard County’s southern-coastal living, Up The Creek Farms celebrates Floridian charm. We chose a full lace gown with a high neckline and key-hole back to pair with this venue. The relaxed gown pairs perfectly with the relaxed venue.
East End Market
The East End Market is a diverse event space that hosts a range of locally owned businesses. This unique wedding venue has different areas for photos, your ceremony, and the reception space. We chose a bridal jumpsuit for this wedding venue. The East End Market is perfect for a unique and eclectic couple, just like this jumpsuit!
Museum of Art & Sciences
Known as MOAS and one of the largest museums in Central Florida, the Museum of Art & Sciences celebrates more than just art and culture, it celebrates your love. This museum hosts classic style weddings in a range of rooms and settings on the property. To pair with this venue, we selected an off the shoulder clean wedding gown by Anne Barge. To not compete with the art or the bride, a clean gown is perfect in an art museum setting.
Bridle Oaks Barn
Located in Deland, Florida, Bridle Oaks Barn is a rustic and southern wedding venue. Couples exchange vows or celebrate their reception in a barn made southern yellow pine. A classic V-neck full lace gown is perfect for this rustic wedding venue.
Hub 925
Hub 925, known as an urban loft in Dr. Phillips, is a new contemporary style wedding venue. The ‘downtown’ vibe the venue provides is fun and exciting for newlyweds. To keep the cool and urban vibe, we paired this venue with a Theia wedding gown. The ‘Meghan’ gown by Theia is a crepe sheath style gown paired with a low back and beaded details.
