They were so wonderful from the beginning of my wedding dress search to having everything I needed for my wedding day. They made sure to only show me dresses within my budget and in the styles I requested. I knew as soon as I tried on one of the dresses and heard the price it was the one. I did want sleeves added though which they did for me. We also brought my daughters flower girl dress and my moms dresses to be altered as well. They were so sweet and helpful the entire process and had everything ready in a timely manner in case we needed anything else done. I would highly recommend them for your wedding attire needs.

One thing you would not get from the vast majority of dress shops is the chance to work with the seamstress herself. The attention to detail and insight were invaluable. Carolyn never suggested I do one thing or another with the dress but instead heard what I wanted to see in photos and do during the party and then gave honest input on how it could be altered in the time we had. In the end, my dress was almost fully customized for a fairly reasonable price. It is exactly how I wanted it.
I found my dress with them fairly late, but despite the fast-approaching wedding date and the amount of alterations I asked for, she always met the deadlines for when certain features would be done; another perk of working with the seamstress directly.

From the first fitting to picking up the dress the week of the wedding it has been a wonderful experience working with the family at Carolyn Allen\’s. My family and I are already planning to come back with alterations on dresses for other events.

Carolyn Allen\’s is a fantastic, professional alterations business that presents high quality work. I wore my mother\’s dress and needed some small parts altered but was hesitant on who I should trust with a 38 year old dress that is irreplaceable. Some colleagues recommended Sue at Carolyn Allen\’s and after bringing my dress in for a consultation, I was sure that she would do an excellent job. She executed everything exactly how we first discussed it and my dress fit perfectly and looked amazing. She and her team are friendly, accommodating, and helpful. I highly recommend using her for any alterations you may need!!

Beyond the best of the best. Getting your wedding dress altered is scary. I did not have the best initial experience with the first company I went to but WOW what a difference connecting with Sue. She helped me feel at ease with the process. Not only did they delver the dress for my wedding weekend at the Disney resort I was staying at but also steamed it there so I would not have to worry about it. So professional and comforting. I\’m getting my dress cleaned, and preserved through them as well too. Would recommend them to anyone!

Carolyn Allen\’s was an excellent choice for my groomsmen, my dad and myself for tuxedo rentals for my wedding. They were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and went out of their way to be accommodating. The selection was wide and I found exactly what I was looking for. The best part was the delivery and pickup from my hotel/venue. I didn\’t have to worry about it at all once the final measurements were taken – it was all handled by their wonderful team. Everyone looked fabulous and I\’m even considering buying some items from them after the fact. Plus, the group discount meant I could either give my groomsmen some money off their rentals or get mine for free. Highly recommend them for any occasion!

We called the week of our wedding at Disney World as we had forgotten to call pressing and Sue was amazing. They came out the day of and helped with over 11 bridesmaid gowns and over 13 suits. There was no issue at all. They were even able to press our special custom altar cloth. We were ready to go for photos on time and they were just wonderful to chat with. Thanks for making our day so special and on short notice! We owe you our thanks and appreciation.

I was very nervous flying with my wedding dress due to wrinkles and unwanted issues. When searching for a good steaming company it wasn\’t easy because this was new to me and honestly didn\’t know what to look for. Once I found Carolyn Allen\’s, I knew I was going to be in good hands. From the start of communication to the day of, everything was seamless. Communication was quick, prompt and pricing explained very well. One the day of, the 2 steamers (I Forgot their names) were prompt and on time as they were scheduled, we got married in Disney and they were able to come to our room which made it a lot easier for us, given we had so much going on leading up to the wedding. The ladies were very nice and easy to engage in conversation with and took an interest in my wedding story. I would highly recommend Carolyn Allen\’s to anyone getting married in the Orlando area.

In this place I found the dress of my dreams, I was able to be accompanied by my family and we received the best attention. They have a wide variety of dresses to offer and they are very professional, I felt very attended to at all times and I was able to try on all the dresses I wanted without any complaints. Sue and Kathleen were beyond amazing! I am so thankful I found their shop. They helped me find my dream dress and lead me every step of the way to make sure I was comfortable and happy with everything. They really made everything as easy as possible. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day and it was all because of them!

Sue & Kathleen were really incredible. I had a major move about a month after I contacted them and they had no problem making the necessary changes to my dress in time. They never made me feel guilty for bringing it in so soon to my moving date. They even offered home cleaning tips for the dress since it was pre-owned. I would recommend them to any Orlando-based bride.

We have had the pleasure of working with Sue and Kathleen twice now. My oldest daughter got married in Hawaii last year and Sue altered her wedding dress to perfection. We returned the dress to Sue and Kathleen as they offer a great preservation service too.
My youngest daughter’s wedding was earlier this month in Scotland. I brought my Mother Of The Bride dress here in the USA and it also needed altering so I took it to Sue to work her magic, and she sure did.

This place is amazing! I was very delayed with getting alterations for my bridesmaid dress. They never made me feel bad for trying to get my dress altered, so close to the wedding date. They were very helpful and quick. I had my dress in time to leave for the wedding, as it is out of state. The dress fits perfect to my body and the price was reasonable as well. Thank y’all so much for the great service and I will definitely be back and recommend to all my friends.

Carolyn Allen’s did a wonderful job. They asked my budget and my style, and had a binder created when I arrived of general styles and everything within my budget. The dresses were gorgeous and alterations were made quickly. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone.
