Founded in 1946 by Navija Achkar-Valladares in Cuba, the original Casa Leon Jewelers store was known for its fine jewelry and custom manufacturing. After the Cuban government took control of the family business, the Achkar-Valladares family relocated to Youngstown, Ohio in 1960. There, they opened their second jewelry store, which served the community for 47 years.

In 2020, Navija expanded the family legacy by opening the third Casa Leon Jewelers location in Lake Mary, Florida, at the Griffin Farm Center.

Casa Leon is still providing quality service to their clients.
In 1946, our founder Navija Achkar-Valladares opened the first family store in Cuba. The store carried a variety of items, mainly focusing on manufacturing and selling fine jewelry.
When communism started and Casa Leon was taken from the family by the Castro government, the family decided to leave Cuba.
In 1960 they arrived in Youngstown, Ohio and several years later they opened their second Jewelry & Manufacturing store, serving the community for 47 years.
In 2020 Navija opened the third location in the Griffin Farm Center Lake Mary, Florida.
