Shannon has a passion that drives her in helping everyday men and women to feel their absolute best. Her goal is to make her clients feel amazing both inside and out.

With over 15 years of experience, Faces by Shannon is a premier on-location hair and makeup team specializing in the wedding industry. Led by Shannon, a highly skilled stylist, the team has graced the covers of prestigious magazines, worked on commercial productions, and served countless brides across the East Coast and internationally.

Shannon’s passion for beauty and dedication to perfection has made her a trusted name for weddings, editorials, and special events. Whether creating timeless bridal looks or working on high-profile projects, her expertise shines through in every detail. From local celebrations to international destinations, Faces by Shannon delivers elegance and artistry to every client.

Shannon’s mission is simple: define her client’s natural beauty. Defining their natural beauty is about understanding who they are and what makes them feel best. Helping her clients understand – and then bring to life – their natural beauty is what Shannon strives to do with every client she meets.

She was led down this path as a young girl, when she was a ballerina with a love for fashion. Now, as a seasoned industry professional, she has worked with thousands of faces across the United States and abroad in the United Kingdom. Her main focus lies in the wedding industry, and Shannon loves working with brides.

In 2019, after numerous years in the industry, Shannon created the Faces by Shannon team. She hand-selected some of the best licensed artists to join her, and delivered incredible services to clients using high-quality, animal cruelty free products.

Together, the Faces by Shannon team happily services the entire state of Florida as well as the Northeast, working in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut. Shannon is also available for travel & destination events.

This has been based on a boutique market with definitely giving customers and non-automated response so we can have a personal relationship with them

What's a fun or unusual fact about you or your company?

Very fun, unusual fact, and Shannon got the opportunity to live all around the United States and also in Australia she also was a prima ballerina at the dance at Juilliard for one year

How did you get started as a wedding pro?

Come in from the fashion background I was referred by a friend to a wedding company and was then able to grow my business on the merit of pure word-of-mouth that grew into a very successful business. I’ve had the ability to employ nine people over the past couple of years and build and grow amazing relationships with them.

Share a piece of advice to reduce stress in the wedding planning process.

In today’s world of AI-generated imagery and heavily edited social media content, it’s easy to have unrealistic expectations when it comes to hair and makeup. That’s why it’s so important to trust your artist. As professionals, we’ve worked with countless photographers and understand how lighting, textures, and landscapes will influence your final look. Our goal is always to bring out your natural beauty while considering how your photos will be styled and edited. Remember, your artist has your best interests at heart and brings years of expertise to ensure you feel confident and radiant on your special day.

What are some of the best compliments you've received from your clients?

Client Praise That Means the Most Some of the best compliments I’ve ever received are from clients who appreciate that I truly listen to their wants and needs. They value that I pay close attention to their preferences, creating looks that feel authentic and tailored to them. I’m often told how much they love the natural, lightweight feel of my makeup application and how beautifully it lasts all night. Hearing that my work not only meets but exceeds their expectations is what drives my passion for this craft.
