What's a fun or unusual fact about you or your company?

Not only do I do hair & makeup but I am also a wedding photographer. So I understand the importance of having good hair and makeup so your photos come out amazing.

How did you get started as a wedding pro?

Born and raised in the vibrant bayous of Southern Louisiana, I developed a deep appreciation for artistry and creativity from an early age. My journey began in Florida, where I pursued a career in professional dance. It was during this time that I discovered my passion for hair and makeup, leading me to enroll at the renowned Aveda Institute to refine my skills and embark on a new career path in beauty. Upon graduating, I joined a talented team where I gained invaluable experience and advanced training. Over seven years, I worked my way up to become a Certified Luxury Russian Hair Artist, lead stylist, and eventually, the team’s training manager. This experience allowed me to hone my craft and develop my leadership abilities, preparing me for the next chapter of my career.

Share a piece of advice to reduce stress in the wedding planning process.

best piece of advice I can give a bridal is understanding that hair and makeup dictate your timeline for the entire day. so hiring a bridal stylist that does weddings and understands the importance of time is key to a smooth wedding day

What's your favorite wedding tradition and why?

I actually love the new tradition that instead of throwing a bouquet for the single ladies, dedicating your bouquet to your mom, moms do so much for the wedding but Dad gets the honor to walk you down the isle. So being able to recognize your Mom during your reception to me is so special!

My brides embody the perfect balance of timeless elegance and vibrant energy. They love classic and chic beauty looks—think soft, sophisticated glam that enhances their natural features—but they also bring a fun, bubbly personality to their wedding day. They want to look effortlessly stunning while fully embracing the joy and excitement of the celebration. With a passion for creating polished yet personalized styles, I ensure each bride feels confident, radiant, and ready to enjoy every moment of her special day.

What are some of the best compliments you've received from your clients?

One of the best complements I get often is how I was such a calming presences on their big day. Not only was I there for them to do hair and makeup but my background in photography so to insure they are picture perfect. Also with 7 years in the industry I've been able to jump in and help bussle dresses, sew popped straps, remove makeup off a collars, & much more.
