Sugar Divas Cakery is a small, female-owned company, dedicated to detailed craftsmanship and creating the best products to exceed our customers’ expectations. We are passionate about creating happiness and strive to deliver a stimulating statement for every celebration. We have been open since 2014 in the SoDo district of Orlando. Sugar Divas Cakery strives to create unique and customized cakes for all our couples, utilizing our skills and our focus on our customers’ experience.

We can create any design you can dream of – just email us some ideas and let us know the number of servings you need and we will put together a quote for you!

For any custom cakes, we need the order to be fully placed with 1 to 2 weeks’ notice. If it is under that, the design options may be limited.

We also feature Adult themed cakes, please stop by the store or call for more information and pricing.

Cancellation policy: Cancellations with a week or less notice will receive full store credit only, or you may postpone your order for a later date free of charge. Cancellations 2 weeks or more from your order date will receive 100% store credit, you may postpone your order for a later date free of charge, or a 25% cancellation fee will be applied. Our store credit does not expire.

Refund policy: If you are dissatisfied with your order for any reason, please return the remainder to determine the issue. Either credit or refund may be given, on a case-by-case basis. If not returned, only credit may be issued.

Short Notice Surcharge: Orders placed with 3 days or less notice are subject to a 20% surcharge of total cost. Designs may be limited.  Subject to availability.

Wedding Order Deposit: A 25% security deposit is due for all wedding orders in order to secure the date and is non-refundable.

Services Offered

Initially couples love to schedule a tasting and consultation with us. We offer Togo tastings and can customize dietary tastings also. We offer delivery and set up. We have a selection of dessert table treats as well as cupcakes and decorated sugar cookies.

Service Area

We service the Central Florida area and we can deliver all over Florida. Our cakes have travelled as far as Key West and Georgia.

Pricing

Typically, our wedding cakes range from $6-$10 per serving. On average, a 4-tiered cake with 100 servings is around $750. Cupcakes start out at $4.25 each and mini cupcakes start at $2.55 each. We also offer dessert table packages starting at $232 for 84 pieces with a la carte options as well.

What makes you or your business stand out and why should a couple hire you?

We are a proud female owned and operated business. We have been in business successfully for over 10 years. We have a very loyal following locally and accommodate the needs of couples from all over the world who have chosen to come to Orlando for their special day. We accommodate those with dietary needs also and pride ourselves on our exceptional customer service experience.

What's a fun or unusual fact about you or your company?

The Sugar Divas team has 91 years of combined cake decorating and baking experience. We also managed to save the business throughout the Covid challenge we all faced. We didn't close a single day. We have together raised four babies in our store. We also offer summer camps and are teaching the new generation of future cake artists.

How did you get started as a wedding pro?

From an early age I always knew I wanted to create beautiful cakes and memories. The Sugar Divas enjoy helping celebrate all special occasions, but weddings are such an incredible event, we LOVE that we get to contribute to a memory that will last forever.

Share a piece of advice to reduce stress in the wedding planning process.

Trust in your vendors, be selective and check out reviews. They do this all the time and will ensure all goes smoothly for you. Try to enjoy the process. Don't forget that part of the fun is in the planning. Take it one step at a time.

What's your favorite wedding tradition and why?

Many couples still love to keep the top tier of their wedding cake for their first anniversary which is a special tradition. Sugar Divas offers a free anniversary cake that is fresh and not potentially spoiled by freezer burn or power outages. You can choose your favorite flavor and relive that special day while watching your wedding video and eating a delicious piece of cake.

Tell us more about the couples you usually get the pleasure of working with.

We love working with all couples. We work with many locals but also many visitors flying in from all over the world. We like to make the process as easy as possible for everyone.

What are some of the best compliments you've received from your clients?

Many customers assume a cake that looks that beautiful doesn't always taste as good as it looks. We hear this all the time, and everyone raves about how it tasted as amazing as the design itself. We also surprise customers with our fondant. Many people have had a bad experience with fondant not tasting good and being a very thick layer on the cakes. Our fondant is of the highest quality and actually smells and tastes very pleasant. We use a very thin layer on our cakes and it can easily be avoided or enjoyed.
