Morgan and Brooks celebrated their elegant outdoor wedding at Sydonie Mansion, a historic gem blending Mediterranean Revival and Asian architectural styles, modeled after Spani’s Alhambra Castle. The mansion is surrounded by lush gardens and a rich history.

How did you bring the couple’s vision to life with the service that you provided for their elegant outdoor wedding?
Morgan and Brooks wanted a mix of editorial portraits and more photojournalistic candids. We made a lot of intentional time in their timeline for directed portraits but we also left space for them to be with their friends and family to get great candids!
What was your favorite personal or design detail that was unique to the couple included in this elegant outdoor wedding?
I loved the bride’s dress and overall whole look! Her shoes were so fun to photograph as well and the parasols as props really dressed it up.
Tell me more about your roadmap working with this couple.
They reached out to me by finding my portfolio online – we shot engagement photos together in Winter Park and then elegant outdoor wedding day was at Sydonie! We had great rapport prior to the wedding and throughout the whole process 🙂
We chatted a lot about their priorities and made sure to structure the timeline in a way that allowed them to get their priority shots without compromising their experience!
Do you have any wedding planning or marriage advice that you’d like to share with other couples planning their day?
Do what feels right for both of you! Whether it’s traditional or totally out of the box, whether it’s trending right now or not at all. Your wedding day should ultimately be a reflection of who you truly are and what you love.
