Anna captured our engagement photos as well as our wedding photos. To say we love them would be an understatement. She is so talented and truly takes the time to make sure the lighting, poses, and scenery are captured beautifully. Anna is one in a trillion! I found Anna after doing a *significant* amount of research (photography has been a hobby for me for years, and I tend to get really picky about photography style). I could tell by her portfolio that she could be versatile, but also did well capturing those \"blink and you\'ll miss it\" moments. I ultimately loved her use of light in photos (light can be tricky when taking photos) and whimsical/romantic style. After meeting her, I felt like we really connected and we ended up hiring her for our magical Disney Wedding! Our first time really working with her was the engagement session, where she spent time teaching us some poses so that on the wedding day we wouldn\'t feel so lost. She took the time to get to know each of us individually, and as a couple, which I felt was so important. She also made sure to touch base with me throughout the process so she knew what I was looking for as we planned the wedding. She made things fun, and we enjoyed our time with her!
On the day of the wedding she arrived *very early* just to scope out spots (even though she\'s been there before she wanted to take a good look given the time of day, lighting, etc.). She was so professional and she really made sure that we were ON TIME or EARLY! While Anna spent time with the girls and I, she had a second photographer with my husband and the boys to capture those moments as well. My husband and the other guys could not say enough about how much fun they had with him. Anna and her team really help you feel at ease, which I believe is extremely important on that special day (isn\'t every bride already stressed out enough as it is?)! She was a friendly face that was with me every step of the way behind the scenes. She also knows how to capture the shots you need without wasting anyone\'s time (no one wants to be standing around for 20 minutes waiting to take one photo). I also wanted to take a moment to recognize and appreciate how she really WORKED IT during the wedding day -she was running back and forth between all of our locations at Disney to make sure everything was set up perfectly for photos (If you\'ve ever been to Disney World, you know what a feat that is)!
Post-wedding her turnaround time was very prompt - she sent us a sneak preview very quickly, and within a couple more weeks we had the full album! She captured every bit of magic that we felt that day and night. She was one of my first vendors present and my last vendor to leave, capturing everything from my getting ready photos to our last dance in the empty reception hall. Her photos of us at the ceremony, with Cinderella\'s carriage, with the fireworks, and at the reception were incredibly stunning, and brought out the magic that Disney had helped create for us.
Overall, I loved working with Anna and her team and I would hire her again in a heartbeat for anything that may come up. In fact, my hope is that we will be able to make her a part of our biggest family moments moving forward! Thank you for being a part of our special day, Anna, and for being a part of our dream wedding. I couldn\'t have asked or dreamt of a better person to capture and share those moments with us.

The wedding market is a multi billion dollars industry and there are many talented photographers out there. What's a fun or unusual fact about you or your company?
Fun facts about me! I'm obsessed with anything Sci-Fi and Fantasy. My idea of a fun vacation is going on a trek and ditch the beaten path.
How did you get started as a wedding pro?
I believe that life has its own paths and tricks. I could have been an architect but art is my destiny. An art professor at my college literally chased me down the hallway to offer me an art scholarship that I never applied for. Of course I accepted the scholarship and changed my path to fine art. As an artist I mostly painted and started my photography passion photographing nature.
I fell in love with wedding photography about 15 years ago, after shooting my friend's wedding for fun. I had so much fun capturing all those happy tears and laughters, I wanted to continue to capture these moments for everyone. A light bulb turned on in my head! Wow! I can do this! I'm 100% self taught when it comes to do with anything photography. I'v tried it all in my journey but I fell in love with natural light and golden hour. While my photography style is polished and refined, I love vibrant colors. This is part of the painter background.
Share a piece of advice to reduce stress in the wedding planning process.
When planning a wedding, choosing the right photographer is important. You must have a good connection with your photographer. If you walked outside and tried to take a picture of a stranger, it would feel crazy awkward. It would be darn hard to get a picture that captured real feelings or any degree of intimacy. The same is true for me, capturing authentic moments can be awkward if you feel uncomfortable around me. I want to capture something real in my images, so, it's pretty important to get to know each other!
Also, you need to click with the photographer's personality. Often the two people you will spend the most time with on your wedding day are the photographer and your spouse. It's important to choose a photographer you get along with.
What's your favorite wedding tradition and why?
My favorite traditional is the first look. I feel this traditional is pretty new in western culture. I'm Asian and in Asia, we don't do first looks. We actually do pre wedding session. Pre wedding is actually a session when the photographer photographs the couple well before the wedding day like an engagement session except in wedding attire. As a photographer, I find the "first look" has so many benefits on your wedding day. First it gives you more time together and you may want to say private vows with one another. You will have some time to be alone together and get the jitters out of the way if you are the nervous type. You can walk down the aisle fresh and stress free with all smiles. Bride & Groom photos and wedding party photos usually follow first look. This will free up time after the ceremony. With only family photos and some last minute photos that might have gotten pushed back to do, you might catch the last end of cocktail hour or you can do a reception room first look.
Tell us more about the couples you usually get the pleasure of working with.
I've worked with many couples for over a decade. Almost every couple started off by telling me they are very uncomfortable in front of the camera. That's completely natural. This is where the engagement session can be very beneficial. I take at least 2 hours with each couple getting to know them during what I call adventure session. I love having fun with my couples, before we know it, we are all having fun and feeling relaxed. I feed off the energy from my couples. The more adventurous they are the more I get into my work. Before I know it the 2 hours is up. Most of the time the guys would tell me they didn't expect to have so much fun.
