We offer full service catering with custom menus, professional staff, and seamless coordination with your venue and planner. From cocktail hour to the last bite, we focus on beautiful presentation, smooth service flow, and food that your guests will remember long after the celebration.

What should couples know before their first consultation with you?

Just bring your vision. We will walk you through the rest. Knowing your venue, guest count, and general menu style helps, but you do not need every detail figured out. Relax and come ready to chat.

How would you describe your style or approach?

Our approach is personal, creative, and client focused. We design menus that reflect your story and make the food a highlight of the day. Every detail is thoughtful, elevated, and full of flavor.

What does the process of working with you look like?

It starts with a conversation about your vision and guest experience. From there, we create a custom proposal that acts as a general starting point for us to work off of and make adjustments to. We can continue to tweak everything and make changes until everything fully aligns with your vision!

How far in advance do you recommend couples book their services?

We recommend booking six to twelve months in advance to secure your date, especially during peak wedding season. For smaller events or off season dates, three to six months is usually perfect.

What is included in your most popular packages?

Our signature packages all include real tableware, a black or ivory linen napkin, black or ivory guest table linens, a NA beverage station, and water goblets. Each package varies in the food item inclusions.

Do you offer customizable packages or à la carte options?

Yes we do! Every event is unique, so we offer fully customizable packages and a la carte options. You can mix and match services to fit your vision, guest count, and budget.

What is one thing couples often forget to ask but should?

Couples often forget to ask how service flow will feel for their guests. We help plan timing, layout, and staffing so the food and service move smoothly from start to finish.

What current trends have you seen at weddings?

Couples are loving chef driven stations, menus with global flavors, and elevated comfort foods. Late night snacks are also huge right now along with fun signature cocktails and playful dessert displays.

What makes your business stand out, and why should couples choose you?

We are a true scratch kitchen and everything is made in house. Couples choose us for chef driven food, personal service, and a team that cares about every detail. The food is memorable and the experience is smooth from start to finish.

What is a fun or unusual fact about you or your company?

A fun fact about us is that our home base is the kitchen at our sister company, Venue 142. We are also one of six concepts within the BakeChop Co., which gives our team incredible support, creativity, and experience to bring to your day!

How did you get started in the wedding industry?

BakeChop Catering and Events grew from our restaurant concept, BakeChop Kitchen. The restaurant was thriving and couples kept asking us to bring that same food to their wedding day. We took over the kitchen at Venue 142 in December of 2022 and built a dedicated team to focus on catering and events!

What is your best advice for reducing wedding planning stress?

Enjoy the process! Choose your team, share your priorities, and let your event professionals guide the details. We are here to make your dream day come to life!

What is the story behind your business name?

Two founders showed up with two ideas. One dreamed of a bakery, the other a burger spot. They teamed up, and BakeChop was born. From there, we expanded our catering offerings to have everything you love about the resaurant with more creative ideas and a broader menu to bring you everything you love – scratch food made with love

What do you think makes for a truly memorable wedding?

Many couples are surprised that our home base is the kitchen at our sister company, Venue 142. You can book Venue 142 for your wedding, rehearsal dinner, or day after brunch, and we can cater on-site or at your chosen location!
