I am Bumby and the owner of Boudoir by Bumby and Bumby Photography. I started out as a wedding photographer and then boudoir photography quickly became a passion of mine. Having my own session empowered me in a way I could never imagine and has only increased my love for boudoir photography.

Being in the wedding business I come across a lot of brides who are looking for that perfect wedding gift for their partner, but have no idea what to get beyond all the generic things. I find that having a boudoir session is a truly unique gift to present to your loved one on your special day as well as a way to give back to you! Wedding planning can be stressful and overwhelming, so taking a break to spoil yourself at a boudoir session is the perfect way to escape from it all for a little bit. From the moment you walk in it’s all about YOU!

With your favorite music in the background, enjoy a glass of champagne while we have some girl-talk and beautify you from head to toe with professional hair and makeup. Schedule a visit to the studio where we can enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and design your session. I cannot wait to meet you!

What makes you or your business stand out and why should a couple hire you?

We LOVE planning your session to what your definition of beautiful and sexy are. We each have a different idea of what we find beautiful and sexy. When you book your session with us, we will guide you through the whole process from prepping to outfits and to albums. Our prep and design chat ensures when you come into the studio, you will be excited and ready for your session.

What's a fun or unusual fact about you or your company?

Funny story. I love old vintage items. I was driving down the road and got stuck in traffic. I was talking to my friend when I noticed 1 block up a cute little chair sitting outside a vintage store. I quickly put the car in park, grabbed my purse and yelled to her if they move take over. I ran up the street like a crazy person bought the chair and as she pulled up she opened the door with a look of, "lady you have lost your S" on her face. It my favorite little chair. You get to sit on it while you get your hair done and I get to enjoy it while I work and edit. :)

How did you get started as a wedding pro?

Many moons ago I was asked to photograph a boudoir session and fell in love with it. We have been photographing boudoir for over 10 years now!

Share a piece of advice to reduce stress in the wedding planning process.

Remember to take time to relax and spoil yourself. Go get your nails done. Get yourself a massage. Or come in for a fun day of gal talk, horribly Bumby jokes and some beautiful photos to share with your partner.

Tell us more about the couples you usually get the pleasure of working with.

I love each of my gals who walk through that door. You each have your own unique personality and style and I truly enjoy bringing it out in your photos.
