What is a unique tip you tell your couples that is specific to your vendor category?
A unique tip I always share with couples is to think of choosing a coordinator as akin to dating. It’s crucial that you have a good rapport and mesh well with your coordinator. This connection ensures that they truly understand your vision and can make your day as special as possible, reflecting your unique preferences and style. Just as in a successful relationship, communication and comfort with your coordinator are key to a seamless and enjoyable wedding-planning experience.
What current trends have you seen at weddings?
Oh, there are so many! Micro-weddings and intimate gatherings, eco-friendly weddings, non-traditional venues (super fun), content creation/bts, mix-and-match bridesmaids, and ditching the traditional cake and getting sheet cake!
What advice would you give a couple who is starting the search for the perfect venue?
When starting your search for the perfect venue, I recommend prioritizing clarity on what you both truly want from your special day. Consider factors like the size of your guest list, the style of your wedding, and any specific amenities or vibes you’re looking for. Also, think about the logistics—how accessible is the venue for guests, and does it fit within your budget? Start by making a list of non-negotiables that your venue must have, and use that as a guide. It’s also helpful to visit a few venues in person to get a feel for the space. Sometimes, a venue might look perfect on paper but feel different in person. Take your time and make sure the venue resonates with both of you, as it sets the stage for the entire celebration.

We booked Allie as our month-of and day-of coordinator. She was an absolute blessing and made our wedding day completely stress-free. At first, I was on the fence about booking her for month-of, but I had zero regrets after our first meeting. She was on top of every detail and managed all our vendors, which was something I was really struggling with on my own. The day ran seamlessly from start to finish with her working behind the scenes and checking in on me now and again if I needed anything from her. We decided to hire Allie in hopes she can salvage the very little we had planned for what we initially thought was going to be a small wedding, but turning out to be much larger than we expected. Although we barely gave Allie anything to work with, she managed to tame and organize the chaos that were thrown in by the many hands of the in-laws, vendors, last minute head count changes etc. She also has great recommendations for any of the important vendors that we were missing. She sent us a detailed program prior to our big day and seeing it gave us such a huge relief. The wedding turned out amazing and Allie was on top of each and every program the entire day! Everything went a lot more smoothly than we anticipated and we actually got to enjoy our reception. Hiring Allie was definitely the best decision we made for our wedding celebration!
