Dean’s Oyster Bar is a traveling mobile raw bar based out of Winter Park, FL. We cater weddings, corporate events, and private parties.

Dean’s Oyster Bar is an interactive raw bar experience. WE BRING THE OYSTER BAR TO YOU! Once you book us, we take care of everything- setup, service, and cleanup- so that you can enjoy the event and your guests.

Upon arriving to your event, we set up our handmade, one of a kind antique tin oyster bar, or an attractive tabletop presentation. Experienced, professional shuckers keep it covered with fresh oysters on ice or hot chargrilled oysters right off the grill. Every oyster is shucked fresh on site and our knowledgeable staff is available to answer any questions guests may have. We also offer other raw bar fare- shrimp, crab, caviar, lobster, mussels, and clams upon request.

Our services are tailored to fit our clients event needs. We have the capacity to work events in virtually any location from your backyard, to the balcony of a high rise building. We work closely with seafood purveyors across Florida and suppliers to get the freshest product available.

A Little About Our Pricing

Pricing depends on the setup chosen, types of seafood, and the amount of seafood needed. Our tabletop experience for weddings starts at $450 and usually ranges up to $1000 depending on type and amount of seafood. The antique tin bar experience starts at $700 and typically ranges up to $1500. Our roaming shucker service starts at $500 and typically ranges up to $1200. 20 percent gratuity is added to services. We do require a $200 non refundable deposit to reserve your date. This is subtracted from the final invoice amount.

How would you define your "style"?

What does the process of working with your company look like?

When you reach out, I send a wedding inquiry form to fill out so that I can learn more about your special day and your specific needs. Once I review that, I send over an estimate or we discuss on the phone if preferred. If everything looks acceptable, couples pay a $200 non refundable deposit to save the date. I reach out to couples closer to the event (about a month away) to finalize details. Final billing to be paid in full is sent a week prior to the event.

What is included in your most popular packages?

Planning, setup, raw and grilled oyster service, and cleanup. We offer a full condiment bar.

What is a unique tip you tell your couples that is specific to your vendor category?

Make sure your guests get wind that there will be a raw bar at the wedding. People are usually starving by the time cocktail hour hits and seafood lovers get psyched for the oyster bar!

What makes you or your business stand out and why should a couple hire you?

We are the only traveling raw bar in the Central Florida area so it is a very unique and niche concept. We pride ourselves on being the best and providing outstanding service. Our shuckers are knowledgeable and passionate about the product they serve. The setups are beautiful. Guests are always wowed and impressed by an amazing, elegant raw bar spread at a wedding. If you love oysters and other seafood and want to share your love with family and friends, our raw bar is the perfect addition to your wedding day.

What's a fun or unusual fact about you or your company?

Our antique tin bar was hand built by a master craftsman and it is made from materials that are over 125 years old. The antique lighting we use for the tin bar was salvaged and repurposed from an old seafood restaurant.

How did you get started as a wedding pro?

I wasn’t initially going to focus on weddings, but I was hired to do one at The Capen House and I loved the experience of helping make their wedding day special and unique to them. After that I was hooked! Weddings are now my #1 favorite type of event to do.

What's your favorite wedding tradition and why?

It’s hard to say… but the most unique “tradition” I’ve seen was a couple that had a professional African dance troupe at their engagement party. It was so cool, different, and memorable.

What are some of the best compliments you've received from your clients?

I love hearing from a couple months later and the first thing they tell me is that guests are still talking about the raw bar at their wedding. I also am always happy when someone tells me what a fun, unique, and special service I provide. The joy that guests get when the see and find out that their is an all you can eat oyster bar at the wedding is priceless as well. That never gets old.
