Hi! Pleased to meet you, and congratulations on your upcoming wedding! I can’t wait to hear about how you envision your ceremony. Traditional, modern, simple, complex, secular, spiritual, or perhaps some of each? Yes! Thinking about a themed ceremony or unity ritual? Rock-n-roll, Star Wars, Disney, yoga, The possibilities are endless!
Planning a wedding is big stuff, and my focus is to make your ceremony a joyful experience. I have lots of information to share. Often, just having a sense of what’s possible, along with what needs to happen before, during ,and after your ceremony, is very helpful.
FreeBird Ceremonies is non-denominational and affirms all philosophies and lifestyles: LGBTQIA+, multi-cultural, interfaith, blended families, secular, spiritual. Themes, kids, and pets are always welcome. FreeBird Ceremonies is a woman-owned business that celebrates love!

Pricing:
Sunbeam Ceremony – Most Popular Package – Average spent $399
Celebrant Ceremony – One-of-a-kind experience. Individual questionnaires for you and your fiancé. Every element of your ceremony has your responses skillfully woven throughout. Plus, as many edits as you desire up to 72 hours prior to ceremony. $699
Rehearsal – $150
Every ceremony includes unlimited conversation. The more you tell me about you and your ceremony, the more I know exactly what you want and don’t want!
Every ceremony includes notarization of your license and hand delivery of your license to the post office to be sent Certified Mail. I snap a picture of the receipt and send it to you, so you have a record of delivery.
*Travel applies to a venue that is more than 30 miles and/or 1 hour drive time from Orlando, FL.

How would you define your "style"?
The decision to marry is one of the most important decisions an individual and a couple can make. My style is Celebratory, United, Joyful, Uplifting, Lighthearted, Inclusive and Modern, yet Grounded, Rooted in Tradition. My style is about Love and creating a joyful experience.
What does the process of working with your company look like?
A complimentary consult, hopefully by video, or in person if you like (my favorite) Booking through an Agreement and 50% Retainer. Questionnaire(s) sent. (Depending upon chosen package) Communication along the way, particularly regarding license and vows. Note – Celebrant Package includes as many edits and revisions as you desire. Communication to vendors. Final check -in to ensure details are exactly as you expect. Arrival on wedding day, typically one-hour prior to ceremony start. Communication! Your ceremony is most important. What do you want or don’t want? Not sure? Let’s talk. I can help.
What is included in your most popular packages?
A unique, loving, and inclusive ceremony based on partnership, respect, equality, and that focuses on your love. We tailor according to your preferences of traditional, modern, secular, spiritual, or a combination! This ceremony has one questionnaire that you fill out together. *Premium time frame. I arrive one hour before ceremony to ensure everything is ready, and will not add any fees if your ceremony starts late. *Coordination with your vendors to ensure a calm and creative space to perform your ceremony. *Battery powered high end wireless hand held microphone, if needed. *Preparation of any readings and / or your personal vows on notecards to be read at the ceremony, so you will not have to remember to bring them! *Notarization of your marriage license and hand delivery to the post office to be sent certified mail. Please note that certified mailing is not a requirement in Florida, but something I do since I’m very particular about the handling of a marriage license. *Unlimited consultations. I welcome all our communication. Your ceremony is most important. *Pets, kids, and themes always welcomed!
What is a unique tip you tell your couples that is specific to your vendor category?
If you’d like to write your personal vows, go inside your heart, not Google. What you’ll find online may be beautiful, but it’s not you.
What current trends have you seen at weddings?
Many couples are choosing to mix fun and tradition. For example, a super-fun unity ritual mixed with traditional vows.
What advice would you give a couple who is starting the search for the perfect venue?
The weather is something that no-one has any control over. If planning an outdoor wedding, consider having a suitable back-up space. Many venues have beautiful indoor options.
How long will my ceremony be?
For the Sunbeam or Celebrant package, the typical time frame is 20-30 minutes, depending upon size of wedding party, readings, rituals, or guest participation.
Can you explain how we get our license?
Yes! And as many reminders as you need! I will also explain exactly what needs to happen during your ceremony as well as after your ceremony regarding the filing of your license with the courthouse, and what you can expect getting your marriage certificate. Your license is, by far, THE most important document of the day, and as we approach your big day, I will likely bug you about getting it, lol.

Jennie was our officiant and was an absolute pleasure to work with! She went above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted and was very thorough with all the details. She hosted multiple video calls to keep us updated and to go over everything. The result of which was a beautiful, one-of-a-kind ceremony! BEST OFFICIANT EVER! I was really overwhelmed trying to pick an officiant, but happened to find Jennie\’s page. I can\’t say enough good words about how amazing she is. She will help you throughout the process to help you through each step and she helps customize your ceremony so it is unique to you! She spoke beautifully at our wedding not just the words she thoughtfully chooses but the cadence and tone is perfect. As a Wedding Planner, it was great getting to work with a professional Officiant! Jennie was so kind and calming which is just what a couple needs for their ceremony. The ceremony was so beautiful due to her professionalism and personalization of their program. We were so fortunate to have Jennie officiate our wedding! From our initial meeting over facetime we knew we had found the perfect officiant. Jennie was very thorough and informative in her calls with us leading up to the ceremony. She took a lot of care to make our ceremony special to us. Our wedding was a bit unconventional and Jennie was very accommodating and considerate. She wrote an amazing ceremony for us that was beautiful and sentimental. She even printed out our vows on special paper so that we had one less thing to worry about on our big day.
