My mission is to capture images that will evoke the emotion of the wedding day. I am very passionate about my photography and get so excited after the wedding. I can’t wait to go home and start getting to work on the images. I post a sneak peek within a day of the wedding and the client has their gallery in less than two weeks usually.

My love for photography went as far back as High School developing film in the dark room. I went to college at Ringling College and had to intern with a photographer in the area before receiving my degree. I was lucky enough to work with a respectable professional and learned from her, falling in love with wedding photography.

The whole wedding planning process can become overwhelming! I recommend making a list of things to accomplish every week/month. Do the things first that are the most important to you!

I love the Handfasting during the ceremony. It is beautiful and unique and the photos always come out beautiful!

My husband and I got married June 10th, 2023, on Siesta Key. We used a wedding company for our ceremony, that included photography with the package. We were a little hesitant to use the photographer provided, as our wedding photos were the one thing we really cared about. Especially since this would most likely be the last event with all of our family together. However, we currently do not live in Florida, and trusted the company’s recommendation. After meeting Jessica, and working with her, she exceeded my expectations. We chose to have a smaller wedding with only our close friends and family. Because of this I didn’t feel like a bride, or that I had gotten the same experience as others. After seeing my photos, I felt like a real bride, like I hadn’t missed out on anything. I LOVE my photos. She captured everything I wanted and more! My husband and I will cherish them for the rest of our lives. Now that we are moving to Florida, I even hope to have Jessica capture our future life events.- Lilly JVK Photography was wonderful to work with! We called Jessica to help us with an intimate elopement civil ceremony that we wanted to have at the local historic courthouse. She was prompt with communications and even helped us to navigate closures due to the holiday, which we were not aware of. Jessica was on time even though we were late to our wedding (smile) and was flexible with pics inside of the courthouse, the main building, and in the beautiful garden outside the courthouse. Jessica provides a “sneak peek” to a few of the photos while she continued her review & editing of the rest of the gallery. This came the day after the wedding and then the full gallery of photos came just 5 days later! Wow. Her professional photos turned out extremely well and we couldn’t be happier with the way that she helped to capture our special day. She did a fabulous job photographing the wedding, even with the large wedding party and family. While taking photos, she had an amazing talent for noticing small details that needed to be corrected for the perfect photo. We had multiple guests and the wedding planner tell us that we had a great photographer with an eye for details. We were so impressed with the beautiful photos and are so thankful for Jessica!
