Meet Moonlit Merlot – Your Wedding’s Favorite Plus-One
Founded by best friends Selena and Mary Ellen who chose to swap scrubs for shakers routed from our shared vision and passion to make unforgettable memories. We met working as veterinary technicians always caring and ready to lend a hand. Our experience in the fast-paced world of vet med taught us the importance of precision, empathy, and teamwork, all skills we now bring to every cocktail.

Since we operate as a dry hire service, you provide the alcohol, which gives you full control over your selections and budget. We’re happy to help you build the perfect shopping list based on your guest count and preferences.
Pricing varies depending on guest count, number of bartenders needed, event length, and any add-ons like champagne service, signature mixers, and more.
We also offer fully customized quotes—because no two weddings are the same, and your bar service should reflect that.

What does the process of working with your company look like?
We begin by gathering your event details to build a custom quote. Once you’re ready to lock things in, a deposit secures your date. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the big day.
What is included in your most popular packages?
Professional bartenders, bar set up & break down, signature and classic drink ingredients/garnishes, cups, napkins, straws, ice, and water.
What is a unique tip you tell your couples that is specific to your vendor category?
One of our best tips is to plan your alcohol quantities based on your guest count and drinking style—not just generic charts online. Every crowd is different! We help couples build a customized shopping list, so you don’t overspend or run out mid-reception.
What current trends have you seen at weddings?
Lately couples are loving interactive experiences, so the champagne wall has been a hit! It’s a fun, bubbly focal point that gets guests mingling and adds instant style to the celebration.

Our team Selena and Lance were fantastic! They showed up early and had all the details covered. Our guests loved their personalities.
