Nora B’s Ice Cream

At Nora B’s Ice Cream, we rent ice cream carts, fill them with the ice cream of your choice and deliver it to your wedding. Choose between pre-packaged novelty ice cream (best option!) or make your own ice cream sundaes (great, but messy!).

Our team will load the ice cream cart full of your selected ice cream treats and drop them off at your reception venue. We don’t stay with the cart as it can operate as “self serve” when you choose pre-packaged ice cream treats.

Service Area

Nora B's Ice Cream services most of the Central Florida region including Tampa, Lakeland, Winter Haven, Orlando and other surrounding cities. We usually stay within 80 miles of our base location in Winter Haven.

Pricing

Prices start at $350 for the cart with ice cream but is plus delivery. You can choose packages of ice cream or you can pick and choose your individual ice cream selections.

What makes you or your business stand out and why should a couple hire you?

At Nora B's Ice Cream, our business model is straightforward. We rent out ice cream carts and load it with ice cream. It's that simple! Our ice cream carts are high-quality, commercial grade cold plate carts that stay cold for up to 8 hours without being plugged in and constantly having the lid open and shut. Our customer service is second to none-we do what we say we'll do exactly when we say we will do it.

What's a fun or unusual fact about you or your company?

Nora B is the name of our founders goldendoodle!

How did you get started as a wedding pro?

The owner of Nora B's, Ryan Strayhorn, is also the owner of ACP Entertainment in Michigan. ACP Entertainment has been around for over 16 years now. Ryan got his start in the entertainment industry DJ'ing events including weddings. In fact, he was 15 years old when he DJ'd his first wedding!

Share a piece of advice to reduce stress in the wedding planning process.

Cheaper is not always better. It can be tempting to go with the cheaper alternative. If there's one thing we've learned from the thousands of events we've been involved with over the years, it's that. This doesn't necessarily mean that you have to go with the most expensive option, and on the flip side it doesn't mean the cheapest option is bad. But, really do your research on the quality and reputation of the vendor pool you're choosing from to pick the right vendor for your wedding.

What are some of the best compliments you've received from your clients?

That we're easy to work with and hassle free. The last thing that any event planner wants, including brides, is to deal with a company who needs their hand held on the day of the event. You hire us to do the job we say we will do, and we will! Our goal is to always exceed expectations, never ever underperform.
