What should couples know before their first consultation with you?
Couples should have an ideal color and style of garment they want, as well as venue location and date of the big event so we can plan.
How would you describe your style or approach?
My approach is gentle and detail-oriented.
What does the process of working with you look like?
Working with TWEEDS means discussing outfit requests, getting measured, trying on garments for fit, and seeing materials that will be utilized in creating your custom pieces, all in a calm and comfortable environment.
How far in advance do you recommend couples book their services?
Handmade custom suits take some time to make and ship, as well as the process of making any minor adjustments as necessary. Give yourself a good month and a half to two months’ leeway on average, though we are able to work with shorter time frames if needed.
Do you have experience with different cultural or religious wedding traditions?
Yes, we have dressed people for various cultural weddings in the past and continue to do so today.
What current trends have you seen at weddings?
Weddings nowadays can be anything from very traditional ceremonies to a literal circus performance under a tent. The biggest trend I have seen is to make the most important aspects of the wedding more personalized, such as when a groom looks for a suit of a particular color, fit, and/or style.

I had an outstanding experience working with Matthew at Tweeds here in Orlando. He, along with the rest of the staff, was incredibly kind and patient throughout the entire process. I wasn’t sure about some of the colors at first, and honestly, I wasn’t sure if they would have what I was looking for since other stores I visited didn’t carry the color scheme I wanted. But Tweeds had literally every color and design I could imagine! Matthew took the time to walk me through a variety of options until I found the perfect suit. He even measured me multiple times to make sure the fit was spot on. The suit turned out better than I could have imagined, and I couldn’t recommend Tweeds highly enough for anyone looking for great service and an amazing selection.
