Uncommon Catering is a boutique caterer, servicing Central Florida and surrounding areas. We offer passionately created, customized, and curated menus that fit within most budgets.
Forged in the Orlando food scene, before it was even a “scene”, co-owners, Tara Vernau and Travis Smith, each have 25 years of experience in the industry.
We offer a full range of catering services, from 200+ wedding receptions to small and intimate wine dinners. Our standard is to not be the standard…we are Uncommon.

In addition to this, we provide a seamless event of matching decor and design, even working with our own florist to offer the assurance to you and your guests, that you planned your event with every i dotted, and t crossed.

How do we do a tasting?
We offer a one-of-a-kind tasting experience like no other. Instead of individual tastings, we host a group tasting that allows couples to taste a wide array of our offerings. At our intimate, yet casual, group tasting, we sample 30-40 of our individual dishes. We describe it as our “Tasting Experience”, used as both a menu selection forum, and also our way of spoiling Brides & Grooms, who rarely get to sit back and enjoy their wedding cuisine.
