Lakeview Gardens is an outdoor wedding venue in Umatilla, Florida, surrounded by mature oak trees, gardens, open countryside, and lake views. We’re about 20 minutes from Mount Dora and within easy reach of Orlando and Ocala, giving you the feeling of getting away without asking your guests to travel too far.
You have two very different places to say “I do.”
Sunset Grove offers a lake-view ceremony with room for up to 150 guests. As the afternoon shifts into a honey-gold evening, the lake and open sky become part of the experience.
For a smaller celebration, the Garden Gazebo is set within the gardens and accommodates intimate ceremonies of up to 70 guests.
After the ceremony, guests can gather around the pool for cocktail hour before moving to the terrace for dinner and dancing under the market lights. As evening settles in, the terrace shifts into a moonlit outdoor reception space. And if your crowd wants to end the night by jumping into the pool, they can.
An easier starting point for planning
Our recommended all-inclusive experience combines Enjoy Your Blooms with The Essentials, bringing together the venue and primary services needed to keep your wedding day running smoothly. Day-of coordination is included, and our team is there to help throughout the planning process.
You’ll also have two personalized design sessions with our team. Instead of choosing everything from a binder, we’ll work through your ceremony, guest experience, tables, linens, centerpieces, and reception details together.
There’s flexibility where it counts. Use our preferred vendors, bring vendors you already love, or combine the two. We don’t require couples to use an in-house-only vendor team.
And when questions come up during planning, call us. We don’t meter communication or charge based on how often you need our team.
Make a weekend of it
The Garden Cottage, located about two minutes from the venue, is available exclusively to Lakeview Gardens couples and their guests, giving you the option to spend more time together before and after the wedding.
At the venue, private getting-ready spaces include an upstairs suite with lake and garden views and another private suite with a kitchen, TVs, and pool table.
And because an outdoor wedding in Florida needs a weather plan, Lakeview monitors the forecast and arranges tent coverage when established rain or extreme-heat thresholds are met. Coverage varies by package.

Catering and bar service are not included in our signature wedding package, however we do offer an all-inclusive package that is an average of $44 per person. We also provide a list of optional preferred vendors with exclusive pricing for these services.

The flexibility – You can go DIY or all-inclusive, bring your own team or use ours, and make the day your own. 3. The private suites – Two comfortable, separate spaces to get ready and relax before the ceremony, including one with panoramic views and one tucked away with a pool table and kitchen.
What does a typical wedding day look like?
Each wedding is a little different by design, but most couples arrive in the morning to settle into the suites, have lunch, and enjoy a slower start to the day. Photos usually begin in the early afternoon, followed by the ceremony in the garden, under the trees, or by the lake. Then there’s cocktail hour on the terrace and dinner by the pool, often with floating candles and golden hour light. It’s relaxed, thoughtful, and flows at a comfortable pace.
