The architecturally stunning and beauty that is Madera Estates takes inspiration and visions from the historic town of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, an artist’s haven and UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Ian is passionate about giving back to his community as well as sharing his knowledge with other wedding and event industry professionals. He has been a featured speaker at Wedding Pro COR, Wedding MBA, Wedding Venue Conference, Wedding Venue Map, as well as the International Live Events Association (ILEA). Among his other accolades, Ian has received his Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP) designation and was named the Man of the Year through the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Man & Woman of the Year campaign, Interfaith of The Woodlands Five Who Share Award recipient, as well as PR Luxury Media’s Do-Gooder of the Year.

Ian started his career as an internationally trained opera singer who has sung across the globe from Portland, Oregon to Stuttgart, Germany. When he is not at work or on a stage, Ian can be found in the yoga studio or traveling with his husband, Paul.
