Briskets BBQ is a third-generation food service business. My grandfather came from Italy wayback in the day and when he sailed into New York Harbor he saw the Statue of Liberty. He was so overjoyed to finally be here in America that he opened a bakery in New Jersey and called it Liberty Bakery and had a picture of the Statue of Liberty in his window.

All of our food at Briskets BBQ is scratch made and all of our smoked foods are smoked on wood burning smokers using only wood, fire, smoke and meats or non-meats… no gas ovens with a little piece of wood to get some smoke flavor. It’s all old school.

Then our baked goods like pies and cakes are handmade and are really phenomenal to say the least… just awesome.

We started our smoked meats journey in 2016 doing festivals and some catering then we built a food trailer and that was awesome and now THANK THE LORD we are in this amazing building and location. We use many smokers to fulfill the volume of requests, we don’t give in by using large commercial gas or electric smokers, we just keep it simple and use lots of small offset smokers just burning wood (No charcoal, gas or electric heat sources) which delivers the best smoked meats holding true to enjoying what real smoked BBQUE is all about.
