I am a live wedding painter servicing all of Florida and beyond. Having a painting created at your wedding is an exciting and wonderful experience! Your guests will enjoy watching the process and seeing the painter’s interpretation of the scene as it’s unfolding in front of them. As your artist, I engage with your guests and provide a wonderful source of entertainment as well as a welcomed distraction during the cocktail hour. We also have added the service of watercolored guest portraits also known as “flash portraits” of guests. Those make a great combo of wedding favor and entertainment! Ask about our packages bundling both the live paintings and the guest portraits.

Live painters who works with watercolors are rare. I love the way that they yield such light, soft , airy and timeless results! There is just something spectacular for your guests to see a painting transform into something meaningful that they are a part of. I’m here to help make your special moment memorable through watercolors!

Services Offered

I create live wedding and event paintings as well as guest portraits made with professional grade materials. The paper and paints are of the highest quality. I paint the entire scene as well as offering individual guest portraits as another option. Some packages include thank you notecards made with the art created from that night as well as return address labels and art prints to give as thank you gifts to family. I also do custom watercolors for bridal bouquets, painting the cake, signature cocktails, and portraits from engagement photos and more!

Service Area

I'm based in the Orlando area but I travel all over Florida from the East coast to the West. Some of my favorite cities to travel to for weddings include Amelia Island, Jacksonsville, Palm Beach, Naples, Sarasota, and beautiful Boca Raton.

About

What makes you or your business stand out and why should a couple hire you?

One of my favorite things in life is celebrating friends and family. To create dreamy watercolor paintings of a couple's wedding day is such a joy to me. My artistic style is loose and fresh so details are not exact likenesses, instead I capture the joy, colors and breadth of the moment.

What's a fun or unusual fact about you or your company?

While many people are just becoming live painters, I've painted at over 65 weddings so my experience allows me to easily work within many unique wedding situations, tastes and scenarios.

How did you get started as a wedding pro?

My background is in visual communication design and I've been watercolor painting full time professionally now for 15 years. When live painting started becoming popular, I was asked to paint at the wedding of one of my custom art clients. I've been hooked ever since!

Share a piece of advice to reduce stress in the wedding planning process.

I would say keep lots of margin in your schedule so that you can enjoy the planning, preparations and dreaming involved with planning a wedding. I love to speak to brides in-person, via zoom or over the phone to help them envision what they'd like included in their special art piece.

What's your favorite wedding tradition and why?

My favorite wedding tradition is a new one. I love that brides and grooms often now take that special private moment after their ceremony to catch their breath and soak in the joy of the day!

Tell us more about the couples you usually get the pleasure of working with.

I've painted at all kinds of weddings, from small private back yard gatherings to luxurious high end formals. The common factor in my couples is that they all want to add a special layer of pleasure for their guests to enjoy that day.

What are some of the best compliments you've received from your clients?

My couples are so thankful with how I interact and chat with their guests. Often times they are stressed about what their guests will do during the cocktail hour. Having a live painter not only provides unique entertainment, but an incredible heirloom keepsake for the bride and groom. The couples love to send out the custom thank you note cards that I create from their painting once it is completed.
