When choosing a DJ for our wedding, I didn’t consider how big of a role a DJ could have on our wedding day. As a destination bride I knew very little about local vendors, but following our first meeting I knew COS Celebrations would be the perfect fit for our intimate wedding. Corey continued to be a huge help as our big day approached and honestly felt more helpful than my wedding planner at times. Prior to our wedding he went over our timeline in great length and reached out to my vendors. On our wedding day, Corey did an outstanding job at playing songs that went along with the vibe of our guests. He killed it on sax during our reception and it was 100% worth it, so for those considering it I would definitely recommend! His whole set up was insane! He surprised us with cold sparklers which lit up the dance floor and looked amazing in photos. Corey was so great that even our other vendors and guests were raving about him. All in all, we had an amazing experience with COS Celebrations and you would be making a huge mistake by not choosing him to be a part of your big day. Thank you again for making our day perfect!
Absolutely Incredible Entertainer
We were on the fence of booking a band or DJ and we ended up booking Corey with COS Celebrations and we got the best of both worlds! Corey played his sax during our ceremony and cocktail hour (so beautiful) and DJ-ed our reception. He also hopped on the sax a few times too during the reception everyone loved it. He helped guide us on timing with speeches etc and was spot on with what we asked. Also when the dancing started he read the room so well, everyone of all ages were on the floor for the whole 3 hours. Corey also has such a great range of music he can play on the sax, not just traditional. He also brought lights and indoor \"fireworks\". He truly made the night so much fun and we are so glad we ended up booking him for our wedding. Book him you won\'t regret it!!!
Corey gets the party started!
Corey helped us recruit a drummer and harpist and he played the sax all night long. We had a blast and our guests did too. He also brought lighting and a co2 gun which made the party that much more fun. At the end of the night my husband hopped on the drum set and it felt like we were at a concert!!! He also brought Mics for the night and all the little things we never thought of. Everything was top notch. We took a lot of time to find the right person to bring music into our wedding and Corey was very responsive from the beginning and willing to listen to all our ideas to make our wedding day perfect. He outshone the 10+ other vendors we had spoken to in our search and we will use him again for events in the future. Highly recommended him for your wedding or event you won’t be disappointed!
Absolutely the best experience with Corey and COS Celebrations!
Corey was an absolute blast! We could not have asked for a better DJ and MC for our wedding. He brought the best energy and made every aspect of our wedding perfect. We seriously would recommend Corey and COS 11/10 to everyone we know! He was very responsive and proactive in the planning process. Definitely recommend taking advantage of his Saxophone performances as well.

COS was one of 3 we interviewed for our wedding. My husband set up the calls. I have known Corey since high school and while I love hiring locals and friends, the fit still has to feel right. So my husband sets up a call. I truthfully had no idea which DJ it was going to be. We have our first call and I\'m BLOWN away. The knowledge. The passion. The willingness to go with our wants and ideas. Our song choices were wild and entrance we wanted. Zero pushback or hesitation. Only to get off the phone and me ask my husband, \"who was ..That\'s who I want.\"
He was perfect (for me). Only to find out afterwards it was COS. Corey is so on the money. He has so much passion. He plays the saxophone beautifully. He basically DJ\'d for a big group of kids 90% of the time. It rained our wedding day and so many people didn\'t show or even worse left early!! He did amazing. I applaud him for having little to work with. Have to say the whole place got up for Cupid\'s Shuffle. That was so amazing to see and be a part of!

Ultimate Professionals
Nothing beats COS Celebrations and DJ/Saxophonist Corey Peterson when it comes to professionalism, quality of work, and creating a fun atmosphere for a wedding. My son\'s wedding this past weekend was incredibly beautiful and memorable, thanks to COS Celebrations which provided smooth saxophone tunes during the cocktail hour and DJ/MC during the reception that followed. COS also created a memorable and stunning atmosphere by adding cold sparks for the newlywed\'s first dance and uplights all throughout the room with gorgeous views of the ocean. Corey\'s music selection was brilliant and the guests were on their feet dancing until the end. We also added a Mirror X photo booth that captured unforgettable moments. It was such a huge hit with the guests!

Best night of my life
Let me start by saying, if you’re looking for a DJ for your wedding, party or whatever. STOP LOOKING… These guys are THE GUYS.
My wife and I got married at Jekyll Island on May 13, 2023. We provided Greg (our DJ) with about 50 songs that we wanted incorporated into cocktail hour, dinner and the party. Any DJ can spin some good tracks. What makes a GREAT DJ is their ability to read the room and give the people what they need to get the place jumpin.
Around 9:30 my wife looked around and noticed that the energy wasn’t where it should be. She promptly went over to Greg and said, “forget about our playlist, get the party going again”… The guy absolutely WENT OFF. For the next 2 hours not a single person was sitting down. At the end of the night people were demanding a third encore.
Aside from being amazing DJ’s, Corey and Greg are absolute gentlemen. Not only do I recommend their services, I guarantee your satisfaction.

Wow, just wow! Our wedding party was an absolute blast thanks to Corey and COS Celebrations. From the moment our guests arrived at the cocktail hour, they were blown away by the smooth and sophisticated sounds of the saxophone. It set the perfect tone for the evening and created an ambiance that was both elegant and fun. People are still talking about it..
But that was just the beginning! When it was time to get the party started, Corey seamlessly transitioned into his DJ mode and it was like the whole room came alive with energy. The saxophone overlays on the songs were an absolute crowd-pleaser and had everyone on the dance floor all night long.

What's a fun or unusual fact about you or your company?
Corey the founder started playing professionally while in High School.
How did you get started as a wedding pro?
Corey was asked to play saxophone for someone to ask their girlfriend to marry them. She said YES! Corey then played at their wedding and knew then he wanted to be different and be a part of making people's special day extra special.
Share a piece of advice to reduce stress in the wedding planning process.
Be careful on getting locked in to a timeline that is broken down to 5 minute increments and such. The day can literally "get-behind" schedule before the ceremony even starts. We take pride in making the day stress-free for our couples. On our planning calls - we get the order of formalities for the day that will make them the most comfortable. Then note-sharing with the other vendors to get everybody on the same page so all the vendors can shine. Whether it's catering needing to drop food at a certain time or photographers wanting to get shots during certain lighting of the day. COS has your back and theirs to make the day flow and transition smooth.
What's your favorite wedding tradition and why?
The bride/groom turning around when their partner is walking down the aisle and seeing them for the first time of day. The look in their eyes is always amazing to catch. Magic.

Our couples want a fun stress-free time. We range from couples that want more traditional weddings to couples that want it to be everything but. We excel at all ends of the spectrum.
