I cannot recommend our wedding musician enough!
Before our wedding, I reached out to him with our request to play one of his original songs and he couldn’t have been more accommodating and excited about it. On our wedding day, his performance was nothing short of incredible. The way he interpreted and delivered his original song was absolutely beautiful.

Derek played at our intimate wedding this past weekend and exceeded all of our expectations. I found Derek when he was playing at a local restaurant. I had just begun looking for music for our wedding and he seemed like a perfect fit.
Derek was communicative and went above and beyond making sure I was comfortable with decisions on music. Music was the one thing in the wedding planning process I was really unsure of and Derek made it extremely easy. We opted for a smaller, intimate wedding that focused on feel good conversation instead of a bigger party and Derek totally understood the assignment. He delivered with the feel good music and even had our guests singing along to his songs.
I would absolutely recommend Derek to anyone looking for a musician who is laid back and an expert in his craft. We received so many compliments on his performance! I would hire Derek again in a heartbeat!

Derek played for our first dance at our wedding. Having this song played live (and acoustic) made the moment so much more intimate and special. Derek nailed it, and it was such an incredible moment! Soft and heartfelt. (We requested Can’t Help Falling in Love)
However, Derek also went above and beyond for us — we had a DJ hired for the rest of the music that evening, but said DJ left before any of the wedding started, because he left his equipment in the rain (don’t even get me started on that one). Derek stepped in and put on a quick playlist for cocktail hour and the start of dinner, when our replacement DJ arrived. It was the only part of our day that went wrong, but Derek stepped in immediately and no one ever knew! Thanks for everything, Derek! An extremely special first dance, and saving our music snafu!

He had done such a fantastic job during the dinner rehearsal that we decided to extend his time throughout the evening for the welcome party, as well.
