I had the pleasure of working with Dogs of Honor on a wedding I was coordinating for Xena Lamp (Owner of Dogs of Honor). Her team was amazing during the entire planning process and they completely understood the logistics for wedding day. They seamlessly worked alongside all the vendors to ensure wedding day was a success and the bride had her special moments with her fur babies.

I have been at multiple weddings with Dogs of Honor present, and all of the handlers I have met are amazing at their jobs! While at the venue they kept all the dogs calm and relaxed, while awaiting their participation in both first looks and ceremony entrances! Due to previous training sessions, with some of these dogs, they were able to recall them and get them to pose in the photos with ease! It was actually really cool to see! If you are wanting your fur babies by your side on wedding day or just to be completely taken care of, then I highly recommend Dogs of Honor! You can tell they care just as much as you do!

Dogs of Honor did such an incredible job incorporating the pups into the bride’s day, it was such a unique experience and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who wants to include their dog(s) into their special day. Stress free and so incredibly cute!

As a wedding guest I was able to see multiple dogs handled during the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The dogs were even in the formal photos! The handlers were so kind to guests and the dogs behaved wonderfully. The dogs were incorporated so nicely into the day without being the center of attention or problematic. Having my dogs at my wedding was non-negotiable, but with three high-drive working dogs — Ventura, my Belgian Malinois, MONiCa!, my Dutch Shepherd/Malinois mix, and my K9 — I knew I couldn’t do it without professional help. Dogs of Honor was the answer to my prayers. From the very first conversation, they put me at ease with their expertise and attention to detail. They understood not only the logistics of including dogs in a wedding, but the emotional importance too. Taylor was my Head Handler that day and did my coordinating for the dogs.

Our wedding was at the beautiful Estate on the Halifax in Port Orange, and Dogs of Honor made sure everything with the dogs went flawlessly. My bridesmaids were able to walk the dogs down the aisle with confidence, because behind the scenes, Dogs of Honor had handled all the preparation, from potty breaks and brushing to keeping the dogs calm and ready for their big moment. When it was time for photos, the handlers had treats, toys, and the kind of patience that only true dog people have — the dogs looked perfect and happy in every single shot.

What impressed me most was how seamlessly they blended into the day. They weren’t just there to ‘watch the dogs’ — they became part of the flow of the wedding, anticipating needs before I even thought of them. Transportation, outfit changes, keeping the dogs safe and stress-free — all handled with professionalism and love. I was able to fully relax and soak up every moment of my wedding without a single worry about my dogs, and that peace of mind is priceless.

If you’re a bride who can’t imagine your special day without your four-legged family, Dogs of Honor is the only choice. They gave me the gift of having Ventura, MONiCa!, and my K9 by my side on the most important day of my life — and I’ll forever be grateful.

If I could I would give Xena and her team 12 stars, because they were absolutely amazing. Xena has truly thought of everything that goes into including pets in a wedding. She transported our dogs, kept them relaxed and comfortable in the new environment and posed them with the photographer. Her services go far and above what we could have asked a friend or family to do and it was so so worth hiring a professional. I didn’t have to worry about anything and having the girls there made our wedding day even more perfect. I’ll remember them in their bows forever!

I was part of a wedding party and had the pleasure to watch Dogs of Honor make our friends dog part of their special day. From the rehearsal to the day of the wedding, Dogs of honor was there every step of the way ensuring everything went smoothly. Smalls acts made them stand out showing the best man the best way to hold the lead to ensure pictures looked well but also maintaining control of the dog. As a dog person myself, I could see the dog was relaxed and well taken care of with this team of professionals. I would use them hands down without question.

I’ve never been to a wedding where the dogs were included so seamlessly! Dogs of Honor handled everything with such professionalism and care that it looked effortless. The dogs were calm, happy, and so well-behaved, which made for the sweetest moments during the ceremony and photos. You could clearly see how much love and experience the team has with animals. As a guest, it was such a joy to watch the couple celebrate their big day with their pups right by their side. Dogs of Honor made the wedding feel even more personal and unforgettable!

Having Dogs of Honor be a big part of our wedding day, was one of the best decisions we made! Xena was so fast with responses, very supportive and uplifting throughout the whole process not only in regards with our dog, but for us as well! Having her be part of our wedding day with our dog Ciara was amazing. This is a memory we will cherish forever. She also took such good care of her the night of our rehearsal dinner, all the way through the weekend for us! Sent us videos/pictures of updates. Made us feel so secure, and comfortable with knowing she was in such good hands.
For future events, Xena will be that one person I contact if an event is happening, and someone who’s trustworthy is needed to care for our lovely puppers. Also, a family member who also used her for our wedding weekend loved the experience!
