Summer and Garrett celebrated their elegant barn wedding at Legacy at Oak Meadows
When Legacy at Oak Meadows shared their amazing images, we couldn’t wait to share their elegant barn wedding day!
How did you bring the couple’s vision to life with the services that you provided?
They desired a beautiful, quiet wedding in the country, in a barn that wasn’t too rustic, but also elegant. Their vision was “timeless”. Between the grounds, the decor, and everyone dressing in black and white, they nailed it! They wanted a venue with various natural photo ops, and they LOVED our Texas Longhorn cattle herd. We took them on an adventurous golf cart ride around the property, taking advantage of all the gorgeous photo areas, including “up close” pics with the cattle.
They also loved the branding service we offer. They designed a custom cattle brand, and I ordered a branding iron with their brand. They branded their cowhide at their ceremony, as well as a wooden step on the loft inside the white reception barn.
During the reception, we projected their “brand” on the white walls of the white barn.
What was your favorite personal or design detail that was unique to the couple included in this elegant barn wedding?
I loved their ceremony location! They were a first for the North Lawn of the White Wedding Barn, seating guests in white wedding chairs! It was amazing!
I also loved that everyone was dressed in black and white, which even matched their GSP “Maverick” (he was such a good boy)!
From the groomsmen starting their day with our Skeet Shooting Excursion, to the cold sparks, dancing on clouds, and CO2 cannons…this wedding was “electric”…..definitely one for the books!!!
Tell me more about your roadmap for working with this couple.
They were a super sweet couple and easy to work with!
From the time they reached out and came for their tour, they knew their vision for their elegant barn wedding day at Legacy!
I helped match them with Lindsay with Hanover Celebrations. They booked her “full wedding planning” package. The collaboration between myself, Lindsay, and the couple was always productive and enjoyable!
Through phone calls, emails, texts, and meetings throughout the time of planning, the journey brought a “closeness”, which made it easier to help them accomplish their vision. They wanted all the bells and whistles on their elegant barn wedding day, and they got them!
They are forever part of the “Legacy Family”! Between the relationships built (even with Summer’s family), and the creative vision…..this wedding left a mark on our hearts!
