Making It Matthews

We are Event Planners, Designers, and Coordinators Specializing in Weddings. We are also an Event Rental Company! We have crews standing by to deliver, set up, and take down for you as well as plan and coordinate your event. Send us an email or call us to get the ball rolling!

We rent to both couples and vendors. Some of our rentals include:

-Seating – Everything from benches to garden chairs to white cross-back chairs
-Tables, including our popular farm tables
-Arches, doors, and unique backdrops including Chiara walls, greenery walls, and champagne walls
-A large selection of tableware including chargers, glass beaded ecle white and black plates, vintage goblets, glassware, eclectic china, and silver and gold flatware
-Many styles of furniture, including vintage furniture, modern furniture, boho wicker furniture, unique cake, and sweetheart tables, lounging area seating, and many one-of-a-kind pieces
-So many decor options, including centerpiece vessels, bottles, barrels, dance floor, candle holders, and silver or black Harlo towers
-Signs -neon signs, wood signs, acrylic signs
-A full line of table linens, napkins, runners, chair covers and sashes, pipe and drape sets and curtains, ceiling draping… and the list goes on!

Full service! We cover every aspect, we have a preferred vendor list to share with you for the food, cake, photographer, officiant, DJ and florals we can do the rest. We build events from the ground up! With you or for you!

Service Area

We are located in central Florida but do events thought out the state and we have done events in Georgia and Tennessee!

What's a fun or unusual fact about you or your company?

We are a mother-in-law, daughter in-law duo! And our name is on our business! So, we will get it right the first time! Our goal is to make each client feel like family forever!

How did you get started as a wedding pro?

Five Years ago, while planning my son and “Daughter-In-Law " My now Partners Kayla’s” wedding, we discovered that we not only love the process of planning and executing the wedding but that we were also in love with working together. Our collective style of traditional meets modern lends itself perfectly to execute weddings and events of all designs. We love what we do!

Share a piece of advice to reduce stress in the wedding planning process.

When planning a wedding, hire a professional and let them do what they are trained to do! Relieve your stress! Trust the process and focus on the memories you are making. We will do the rest!

What's your favorite wedding tradition and why?

Our favorite tradition by far is the couple that start their own tradition! Maybe it’s having your bride record her vows and then your DJ plays them as the Groom walks down the aisle, Goosebumps! Or maybe you provide a small cake on each reception table and as a couple you go to each table and cut the cake with your guest that way no one misses it! Or maybe your officiant stands in the aisle and the couple faces him so everyone can see your face not your back! Our favorite tradition is the one that is perfect for your wedding! Make your day your own do it the way it makes you happy! We love to help incorporate things that will become a tradition for your family!

Tell us more about the couples you usually get the pleasure of working with.

We have had the honor of working with many types of couples. Some that only want a little help executing the wedding or event they have already planned, to the type of couple who walk in and say this is what I like, and I just want to show up and it be perfect, and we take it from there!

What are some of the best compliments you've received from your clients?

We love doing beautiful, over the top events with the wow factor . But we still beam with pride when a couple or their guest say to us the event went so smooth . Or it was perfect ! Because there are so many factors that come into play , but we work hard to make executive decisions on your behalf so that we never have to ask you questions or interrupt you at your event and we handle all the stress or issues, so that you or your guest never knew it happened.
