This hidden gem is nestled among rolling hills, adorned with a backdrop of flowers and grazing cattle. As you drive up our property’s entrance, take in the scenery of meandering meadows leading to our brand new event barn! MEET YOUR HOSTS | CHAD & TERA
Chad, with his deep roots in farming, ranching, and the fern business, and Tera, with her rich background in agriculture and passion for community, together breathe life into Legacy. Their story is a testament to love, perseverance, and the beauty of shared dreams.
From being a part of the family’s cattle & fern operation, Chad’s diverse career took him from building boats at sea ray, to transitioning over to the nursery industry where he excelled in sales. The entrepreneurial spirit flourished when he and Tera embarked on a landscape material distribution venture, further expanding with the acquisition and transformation of a 28-acre tree farm.
Tera comes from a background steeped in agriculture, from assisting in her family’s butcher shop, to being an active member in FFA, where she ultimately managed her own hog operation. She and Chad both share a history in competing in Rodeos as well. Tera’s later pursued a degree in Business Administration and Managment at a local college. After 13 years with the Central Florida Fern Co-Op, she transitioned to clerical duties at a local church before rejoining Chad in their thriving tree business.

Our Full Venue Rental gives you private use of the property.
Access from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm, pricing for 2025–2026 varies by day of week.

Friday/Sunday: $7,400 + tax

We don’t have in-house catering nor bartending, but we have suggestions for vendors we work closely with!

Our wedding packages begin at $4,500 for a Micro Wedding. Reception only begins at $5,000!

Why do couples choose this location?
The whole property is stunning, with beautiful attention to detail, and gorgeous, natural photo ops! We give the couple and their photographer/videographer a private golf cart ride around the property so they can take advantage of all these photo ops, to include our Magnolia Grove, the dock on the water, our vintage truck with a crystal chandelier dangling above it, all the beautiful old oaks at the entrance, adorned with Spanish moss that glows during golden hour and blows softly in the breeze, as well as our adorable old shed overgrown with vines! Then we finish up your adventure with taking you in for up close and personal photos with our Texas Longhorn cattle. We offer a branding package, where you can brand a personal item during your ceremony, as well as the loft steps, with your own customized hot branding iron. They groomsmen can fish and even book their private skeet shooting excursion for the morning of the wedding! All of this takes place in the peaceful country! Our property is breathtaking, and like no other. Everyone comments how pictures don’t do it justice. You have to see it in person!

What does a typical wedding day look like?
12 hour contract for Regular White Barn Wedding Package OR 14 hour contract for our two “All Inclusive” Wedding Packages:Brides/bridesmaids arrive to bridal suite at 11amGroomsmen arrive to the groom’s loft at 11am (can opt for a skeet shooting excursion, and/or fishing for a couple of hours).Pre-ceremony pics are an option.Ceremony by 4pm (Can opt in for branding ceremony. Ask us for deets!)Cocktail/Hors d’oeuvres to follow, while bride & groom enjoy their private golf cart ride to experience all the beautiful photo ops around the property, to include up close pics with our Texas Longhorn cattle!Reception inside the white wedding barn (send off is at 10pm)

Chad and I both do! We LOVE the uniqueness of each ceremony! We also enjoy driving the bride and groom to enjoy all the different photo ops and experience all that our property offers!
Tell us about a memorable story from a recent event.
Recently, a bride and groom released butterflies in memory of those who have gone before us. Also, our bride & groom secretly “got away” from their reception, to take a private golf cart ride, to enjoy up close photos and encounters with our mini donkey herd.
Best piece of advice for couples planning a wedding.
Hire a planner (worth their weight in gold), reach out to us for guidance and suggestions for vendor selections. It’s not a sprint, it’s a marathon! Between our venue and suggested planner, we help you to be very organized and to stay on track! We can help you stay organized and take “one day at a time” for less stress! Keep proper perspective, and know that everything always comes together…..and at the end of the night, you most importantly will be “MR. and MRS”! Our best advice is to come take a tour, and if you love our venue, trust us with your special day! We believe our venue and preferred vendors are top notch, and will give you the absolute BEST experience and wedding day memories!!!

As a wedding planner, I have the privilege of working with many venues, and this one truly stands out. From an organizational standpoint, this venue is exceptional. The staff is professional, communicative, and incredibly detail-oriented, which makes the planning process smooth and stress-free—not just for me, but most importantly for the couples.
The venue itself is impeccably clean and well-maintained. Every space, from the ceremony area to the reception spaces and “behind-the-scenes rooms”, is thoughtfully prepared and pristine. It’s clear that the team takes great pride in the property, and that attention to detail shows on wedding day.
