What current trends have you seen at weddings?
Include your sunset photos into the timeline – Planning a wedding takes a lot of effort and the little details always matter. After the ceremony is done and everyone is taking pictures, there is one photo that you will always remember forever, that is under the beautiful sunset. Now to capture the exact time it is always recommended to look up when the sun will be setting on your exact date. While only having a 15-30 minute window it is key that every vendor is on the same page that way they know not to bring dinner out or announce any special dances until you are done. Like they say a picture is worth a 1000 words Create a special Hashtag for your Event – Nowadays every has social media and they are constantly posting pictures from their phone. This is a perfect time to create a hashtag for your special day that way everyone at your event who takes pictures will have them saved to the cloud. By just searching your hashtag in the search bar on social media all the photos that everyone has taken will show up. We recommend using something simple and unique that way it will be easy to remember for your guests. It always a plus if the DJ can announce it on the mic that way people will know to tag their photos with that specific hashtag. It is always crucial to stay away from big words so people will not misspell it and finding one that no one has used before. It also a cool idea to have it be a play on words for example, two people are getting married under the last name Bess. So, they choose to make their hashtag #bessweddingever2020.
What advice would you give a couple who is starting the search for the perfect venue?
When your fist start looking for a venue there are two important factors to consider before searching. First should be your price range that reflects your overall budget and what type of venue you are looking for. While searching venues here is some very important questions you should ask a potential venue. 1. Do they have a back up plan for your outdoor ceremony in case of rain or extreme weather? 2. Does the rental include tables and chairs? 3. What is the earliest times your vendors can come to the venue to setup? 4. What are their cancellation policies when it comes to extreme weather any condition beyond your control? 5.Do they have an area for dancing and if not will a dance floor be provided by the venue?
Can you DJ and be our MC or will we need to supply our own MC?
Here at party springs all of our DJs operate as a DJ/MC. We will make all the announcements and we love working the mic during dance time. We also always supply wireless microphones for any announcements including toasts and blessings before the meal.
How do we secure the DJ for our Event?
We always require 25 percent down to secure any services we offer. This includes our dj services, photo booth rentals, up lighting, and monogram. For weddings and other special events, we always suggest to setup a meeting with our team. That way you will have all the information you will need and also a brief summary of how the planning process works.
