Pricing

We believe that each wedding is special and deserves to be seen, so we don’t provide generic one-size-fits all packages to my clients. Custom design wedding starts at a $500 minimum - which is perfect of an intimate event. A custom wedding incorporates a consultation, mood board, event renderings as we journey with you. Our Wedding Essentials option is perfect for couples who love the romantic airy Petals and Stems design style, but are happy to leave the details to us – On our website you pick your color pallet - we will design with seasonal florals in that color pallet , the desired elements (bouquet, boutonniere etc) and provide the event date needed. There is no formal consultation/conversation, mood board or renderings provided. Once you submit your order online, we’ll touch base to confirm delivery timing and detail. You Leave the design and decision-making to us so you can truly focus on enjoying your day!

About

What makes you or your business stand out and why should a couple hire you?

With over 30 years in the wedding/event industry, a background in photography, and a native Floridian - I understand the full scope of your wedding day and the best way to utilize your florals into your design flow, the visuals that will be captured in your photos, the Florida climate and staying within your budget.

What's a fun or unusual fact about you or your company?

I grew up in the family nursery business, around plants and flowers my whole life. I loved the watching Martha Stewart's show and would devour her magazines and books (before Pinterest) . I would dream of designing with flowers. Clipping things in the nursery and practicing. But I was to scared to pursue it. Before my younger brother passed away from cancer, he told me to go live and do what I LOVED - which was flowers. I launched Petals and Stems - where my passion is to get flowers woven into peoples lives.

How did you get started as a wedding pro?

I started in the wedding/event industry in my early 20's as a planner/organizer. I was also an Operations Director for a historic venue where I saw a lot of amazing vendors and several not -so-good. When I became a Floral Designer, having all those years of experience in the industry, it made sense to offer wedding floral services. I love it!

Share a piece of advice to reduce stress in the wedding planning process.

There is a time and place to DIY, but the big elements of your wedding are not it. I have watched Brides who did not enjoy the pre-event festivities, their family/guests, and even the wedding day - because her and the bridesmaids where crafting and creating up until hours before the wedding. It creates unneeded stress in an already high emotional time. Hiring professionals is worth the piece of mind and chance to enjoy your wedding.

What's your favorite wedding tradition and why?

It is actually a moment - when the bride and groom see each other for the first time. That look is priceless.

Tell us more about the couples you usually get the pleasure of working with.

My couples are down to earth, family loving, and the desire is to create a special day to remember but very conscious on how to spend their resources. As you can see in my photo gallery we create an amazing day.

What are some of the best compliments you've received from your clients?

The best compliment is when the Bride cries when I present her with her bouquet.
