A Little About Us

What makes you or your business stand out and why should a couple hire you?

Our enduring passion for florals has always been evident, but it was our own wedding planning that truly ignited our drive to bring it to life. Finding a florist who could capture our unique and edgy vision proved to be a challenging endeavor. Consequently, Tomb Bloom was conceived to fulfill the dream of brides seeking a spooky and romantic wedding.

What's a fun or unusual fact about you or your company?

We are avid horror movie enthusiasts and have a black cat named Salem, named after the character Sabrina from the Sabrina the Teenage Witch series. Salem enjoys observing our floral arrangements and even takes a liking to sniffing them.

How did you get started as a wedding pro?

Initially, I engaged in a hobby of crafting floral centerpieces and selling them to my colleagues. Subsequently, I transitioned to vending at farmer’s markets. It was during this period that I was fortunate enough to be discovered by an exceptional photographer who specializes in capturing images of tattooed brides. We formed a collaborative partnership with The Tattooed Bride Photography, and together we celebrated their grand opening at Til Death Chapel. From that moment on, our journey unfolded, leading to the establishment of my current venture.

Share a piece of advice to reduce stress in the wedding planning process.

Remember, it is your day, and you have the freedom to celebrate it in any way that resonates with you.

What's your favorite wedding tradition and why?

Our cherished wedding tradition involves the bride being veiled from the groom’s view for 24 hours prior to the exchange of vows. This practice keeps the groom in suspense, wondering how the bride will appear when he gazes upon his first glimpse of his future wife from the altar. This element adds an extra layer of significance and romance to the ceremony.

All of our couples are exceptionally well-matched and affectionate. Many of them share a common interest in the supernatural and the darker aspects of life, which facilitates the realization of their vision.

Our floral arrangements consistently garner praise for their distinctive appearance and unconventional nature, which harmoniously combine uniqueness and aesthetic appeal. These accolades exceed expectations and serve as a testament to the fulfillment of our vision.
