Abigail and Aaron celebrated their lakeside wedding at Casani Estates, a beautiful lakeside wedding venue in Central Florida, offering breathtaking views.
When we saw their amazing images, we reached out to this amazing couple for all the details that made up their special day!
Bringing the couple’s vision to life with the services provided
When Aaron and Abigail first told me they wanted an eclectic mix of thrifted and vintage pieces for their decor, I instantly knew we’d be a great match.

They had been collecting the beautiful treasures from thrift shops and antique stores in Texas, where Abigail went to school, Virginia, where Abigail’s mom lives, and in Central Florida, and when we blended them with my brass candlesticks, every table took on its own personality and charm.

Their ceremony arbor was another favorite detail, a whimsical mix of pastel florals with just the right touch of pearls, tying back to the sweet accents already woven into Abigail’s bouquet and Aaron’s boutonniere. The whole design felt like such an authentic reflection of them: Abigail’s love of vintage, a hint of art nouveau, and the soft, summer pastels. It was such a joy to pull it all together for their August wedding!
The favorite detail that was unique to the couple included in their lakeside wedding
I loved their unconventional take on wedding favors. In addition to looking for decor, they scoured local thrift shops for a variety of colored glassware.

The glasses were displayed on a shelf for everyone to choose from as they entered cocktail hour, and we worked closely with the bar team to make sure those glasses were the only ones used throughout the night.
Guests loved picking out the glass, and seeing them walking around with the cup that they chose put a smile on my face.
The roadmap for working with the couple on their lakeside wedding
The process with Abigail and Aaron was very collaborative. They came to me with a collection of thrifted items, and I immediately saw how we could incorporate those pieces into the overall design that felt both eclectic and cohesive.

They kept me up to date on their collection with an inventory document that allowed me to start planning layouts and figure out how each item could work together across the tablescapes.
On this lakeside wedding day, my focus was on placing every piece with intention. I worked to create collections that felt carefully curated and balanced colors and textures throughout each table so that no table felt overdone or overlooked.

The mix of their vintage finds with my collection of brass candlesticks tied everything together beautifully. Abigail’s vision was so vivid and thoughtfully communicated that it felt natural to bring it to life. I always knew exactly what direction to take to make sure every detail reflected their personalities and dreams for the day.
Wedding planning or marriage advice for other couples planning their day
Curate a vision for your wedding day. It doesn’t have to be super detailed, but having a clear sense of the vibe you want makes every decision so much easier. When you’re on Pinterest or Instagram, you’ll probably save a lot of photos that don’t exactly match your vision—and that’s totally fine.

Instead of trying to copy them, figure out what it is that grabs your attention. Is it the color, the texture, or the overall feeling the photo gives you? Once you know that, you can put those elements into your vision in a way that still feels a true expression of you.
That’s what makes a wedding feel personal—when the details connect back to who you are as a couple, instead of being just a mix of random pretty things.

Congratulations, Abigail and Aaron, on your Lakeside real wedding story!
