Hey there! We’re Alexandria and Brenda, the dynamic duo behind Velvet Events Orlando. As both friends and family – we’re here to create floral magic and sprinkle some silk flower joy over Central Florida! Our company was founded in 2021 after realizing the limited options for flower rentals. We love fresh flowers as much as the next girls, but we feel weddings should have beautiful options for all budgets. In their free time, the enjoy travelling and spending time with their kids and husbands.

Services Offered

We offer anything related to rentals of florals: Centerpieces, bouquets, backdrops, installations, arches, floral runners ect. We also provide backdrops (boxwood walls, flower walls, ect) We also provide LED candles with all floral packages, and day of services such as setting up any table items.

Service Area

We are willing to travel all across the state of Florida- that being said, we are based in Orlando, so delivery charges may increase accordingly to further cities.

Pricing

Our basic floral package pricing begins at $1425- we do offer a la carte options with a $500 minimum order plus delivery. We are proud to be an affordable floral option and encourage couples to openly discuss their budget/ideas with us.

What's a fun or unusual fact about you or your company?

We are TRULY family owned - we have had everyone from our kids to our grandparents help out at times!!

How did you get started as a wedding pro?

Velvet Events Orlando was born in the chaotic aftermath of Alex's wedding, where a bulk order of flowers from Sams Club turned into a rotting mess only days before her wedding. After learning the hard way, and realizing that floral fiascos are no joke, we realized that there had to be a simpler option for couples. Not long after, we opened Velvet Events Orlando with the mission of creating beautiful arrangements that would never wilt, rot, or cause pre-wedding panic. Hand crafted with care, our arrangements also offer couples beautiful options that won't put them into pre wedding debt.

Share a piece of advice to reduce stress in the wedding planning process.

When the process gets stressful, remind yourself that your wedding day is one of the rarest moments where you will have friends, family and loves ones all gathered in one place, to celebrate your day! Embrace the moments and chaos!! :D

What's your favorite wedding tradition and why?

Our favorite wedding tradition, albeit less common in modern weddings - is tossing grains of rice at the newlyweds. This was really common for both of us at weddings growing up, and the odd time we see it now, it brings nostalgic and happy memories.

Tell us more about the couples you usually get the pleasure of working with.

The couples we have the pleasure of working with are truly delightful. Our clients really enjoy the collaborative process by sharing their ideas and visions. Seeing couples floral dreams come to life is truly an incredible reward for us. Knowing we can help them achieve their desired look without breaking their budget also makes it that much better.

What are some of the best compliments you've received from your clients?

Some of the best compliments are when clients praise the beauty and realism of our flowers. However, we feel the best compliments are when couples tell us how easy and stress free the process was. A memorable instance was from a bride and her mom who not only commented on how beautiful the flowers were, but also how easy the process to work with us was. Its really rewarding to know you can help clients feel happier and ease on such an important day.
