Good news: Your wedding ceremony doesn’t have boring! I’m all about capturing the magic of your relationship by telling your love story in front of you and all of your guests. Your ceremony will be uniquely customized to be about YOU! Couples have often told me that their guests were surprised that they “didn’t have to get through this part just to get to the reception.” 🙂

Your personal wedding experience starts at the rehearsal, and from the welcome to the rings, vows, and exciting pronouncement, I’ll guide you through your options. At the end of the day, your wedding deserves to be amazing! I know that everything that I do impacts your experience, so relax, I’ve got you!

Pricing

Ceremony officiating starts at $245 for a sweet, intimate ceremony. Pricing & packages range from $245-$565, and an average couple spends $425. Pricing includes my input on writing vows, unity ceremonies, and full ceremony planning. Most packages also include a "Wedding Workshop" video ceremony planning call (1 hour) to 'bulletproof' all the details!

About

What makes you or your business stand out and why should a couple hire you?

I've often been told by couples that they appreicate the time, planning and genuine caring I invest in them! Couples have also shared that they bond quickly with me, and that they love my 'realness'. also have an extensive pastoral ministry background with over 20 years experience in performing wedding ceremonies.

What's a fun or unusual fact about you or your company?

I excel in bad karaoke, I'm a much better at lip syncing. Plus you don't hear my singing :) Why aren't there more lip syncing battles??

How did you get started as a wedding pro?

I performed ceremonies as a pastor, and then in 2015 I launched Weddings by Sam as a "side hustle" which exploded! I'm now a full-time wedding officiant, over 500 ceremonies later. I do ONLY this, and so it gives me the time to carefully invest in each couple!

Share a piece of advice to reduce stress in the wedding planning process.

Thinking about writing your vows? Keep them short and sweet- 1-2 minutes max. When you're in the feel s and standing in front of everyone, you go into double time. :) Include 3-4 promises to your partner, both the funny ones and the romantic ones! Also agree on a tone with partner, and jot down some notes about your relationship. Then, write a draft and practice it!

What's your favorite wedding tradition and why?

The high-energy moment at the end of a ceremony when I introduce you as married, with all of your guests on their feet and cheering you on!

Tell us more about the couples you usually get the pleasure of working with.

Most of the couples I marry are millenials who love being put in the spotlight on their big day with a fun, relaxed & romantic ceremony that captures their unique love story!

What are some of the best compliments you've received from your clients?

Couples say that I'm knowledgeable, quick to respond, and that they feel as though they've known me for a long time. They have also often shared that I'm professional, and that I have a calm presence to make them feel less stressed through the planning and during their ceremony.
