Our couples and their bridal parties arrive at the ranch around noon to get ready. Our most popular time for the ceremony to start is between 4pm-5pm. After the ceremony there is a cocktail hour for the guests while the bride and bridal party are roaming the grounds for photos. After the cocktail hour, the bridal party introductions and first dances begin. Immediately after the first dances, a dinner buffet will be served on our vintage China with charger plates and glassware on the tables. Rocking L Ranch Serving Staff along side our In-House Catering Service will serve your guests from the buffet. The staff will bus the tables after dinner and cut the cake about 30-45 minutes after dinner. If you package includes a bonfire, it will be lit at dusk. The remainder of the evening will be bouquet tosses, games of your choice and dancing the night away! 20 minutes before the end of your reception, a "last call from the bar" will be called. At about 10 minutes before the end of the reception, our coordinator will gather the guests in the courtyard for a sparkler last dance or exit whichever you choose. The DJ will announce a thank you and good night to all. After you say good night to your guests, you'll be responsible to remove your belongings from the dressing areas. Our coordination staff, bartender and caterer will pack up any personal decor, left over alcohol, food and cake and have it ready for you upon your departure.

Well, last weekend, we had a Viking perform a ceremony and the bride was dressed in black. It was different yet tastefully done and memorable for sure!

Oh thank you for asking!! I have two pieces of advice I'd like to share... 1. When shopping for a venue, do all your best homework online first. Then choose your top 3 favorites and do in person tours. Try to refrain from visiting a ton of venues. You'll be exhausted, overwhelmed and confused if you try to visit every venue in your area.2. Choose an All-Inclusive Venue that still allows you the flexibility to make it your own. The more you can package together, the more time and money you'll save. And, you'll enjoy the journey as well as your wedding day so much more, without the hassle and stress of trying to organize everything yourself.
