Does the venue offer catering or bar services? If yes, what is the average cost per guest?
We do offer catering in our all-inclusive packages. The pricing is anywhere between $32-$37 per plate depending on the package. We include bartending services with mixers and garnishes, but we do not provide the alcohol.
Is there a guest or spending minimum required to book?
The minimum would be our micro-wedding package at $5500, but it does not include catering.
Is there a backup plan for outdoor ceremonies? If yes, what is it?
We have multiple options for outdoor weddings, but in the unfortunate circumstance that we need to move it indoors, we have a 2900 sq ft reception barn that we can utilize for a back-up plan. And it is stunning as we just used it to keep our guests comfortable during the recent cold spell.
How much setup time is included, and can they purchase extra?
With the all-inclusive packages, we handle all the decor and set-up. If you have specific touches you want to add, the venue is rented by the bride and groom for the specific hours for their package but yes, they can purchase extra time if needed.
What makes your venue a favorite with couples?
Our attention to detail seems to be a favorite among the couples. The property has a very magical feel as well and it seems to be contagious. Without boasting, some couples say the best part is us-they trust us to make it beautiful and they relax knowing that all the details will be taken care of.
Are couples required to provide wedding insurance?
Yes, we do require event insurance but it is simple and very affordable.
What other types of events does the venue host?
Due to the size of the property, we hold family reunions, corporate picnics, milestone birthdays/anniversaries/vow renewals, farmers markets, art shows… if you can think of it, we would love to help you plan it.

One of my personal favorites… a bride and groom were at the arch getting ready to say their vows when the officiant asked if anyone objected, to which the bride pulled up her dress and exposed her garter that was holstering a fake pistol. Everyone erupted in laughter. It was an epic moment.
How many weddings do you host per day/weekend?
We only host one wedding per day as we want to focus on the bride and groom and THEIR day in it’s entirety.
What is one thing couples always tell you after the wedding?
Couples tell us how grateful they are, that it was more than they ever imagined and that they had the best time.
Can couples or vendors ever drop off decor items the day before or pick them up the next day?
Because we handle the decor and set-up, there shouldn’t be a need for that but if there is something we do not have or that the couple is doing additional, we will make arrangements with them to accommodate.

As a long time administrative assistant, my role has always been to organize someone else’s day, put together events and make sure everything goes smoothly. Putting together weekend long events for years on our property always brought great joy to my husband and I, so we decided to merge our strengths and create a venue where we can make dreams become reality here at The Fitts Farm.
