The Sanford Galleon is a perfect wedding venue for a waterfront wedding. The 4,000 sq ft venue has 70-foot floor to ceiling windows with picturesque views of beautiful Lake Monroe. The nautical theme is enhanced with pirates, mermaids, and galleon ships in shades of blue, grey and brown. It boasts unique architectural elements like circular zones, a tongue-and-groove cedar wood ceiling, and wooden beam chandeliers.

The Sanford Galleon has a full bar and dance floor in front of the windows. Upstairs has a catwalk for extra seating to look down on the wedding party. A changing room for the wedding party with a shower and make-up/hair area for your convenience is also available.

The venue was completely remodeled in 2024. The venue is associated with St Johns Rivership Co and can include a reception on the Barbara-Lee historic paddlewheeler.

Featuring a dedicated bar inside, known simply as The Pirate Bar, collaboration with the Barbara-Lee kitchen promises not just exceptional cuisine but also a memorable dining experience against the backdrop of our unique venue. Whether you’re hosting a wedding, corporate event, or private celebration, indulge in delicious food and beverages curated to perfection.

Outside caterers are also welcome at the Sanford Galleon with the proper Certificate of Insurance.
