Frequently Asked Questions
What are the top three venue features?
Our top three features are our flexible indoor and outdoor spaces, full-service event support, and beautiful hilltop Clermont location. Couples love the high ceilings, oak floors, chandelier lighting, natural light, and layouts that work well for ceremonies, receptions, dinner, dancing, and entertainment. The outdoor patio and grounds add space for cocktail hour, photos, and guest mingling. As a full-service venue, our team handles setup, catering service, and cleanup so couples can enjoy their celebration.
Does the venue offer catering or bar services? If yes, what is the average cost per guest?
Yes. The Venue offers full-service, in-house catering with menus built around each couple’s tastes, dietary needs, cultural background, and overall event style. Our catering menus include Italian, Mediterranean, Mexican, Caribbean, Asian, Latin, American, and other multicultural dishes. Because every wedding is different, the average cost per guest depends on the guest count, service style, menu selections, bar needs, and overall event scope. Couples are encouraged to inquire directly so we can provide accurate pricing based on the experience they want to create.
Is there a guest or spending minimum required to book?
Yes. The Venue requires a minimum guest count of 25 and a 4-hour minimum rental booking. Venue rental rates range from $125–$325 per hour depending on the day of the week, time of day, and whether the couple chooses indoor-only or indoor/outdoor access. This gives couples flexibility to choose the space and schedule that best fits their celebration.
What does a typical wedding day look like?
A typical wedding day at The Venue is designed to feel smooth, organized, and enjoyable from start to finish. The day usually begins with vendor arrival, setup, final layout details, and our in house catering preparation. Guests then arrive for the ceremony or cocktail hour, depending on the couple’s timeline. After the ceremony, guests can enjoy cocktail hour on the patio or outdoor grounds, if selected, while the couple takes photos. From there, the celebration may transition into the main event space for dinner, speeches, dancing, and the reception. Our team supports the setup, food/bar service, and cleanup so the couple and their guests stay present and enjoy the day without managing every detail.
Is there a backup plan for outdoor ceremonies? If yes, what is it?
Yes. The Venue offers both indoor and outdoor event spaces, which gives couples flexibility if the weather changes. For outdoor ceremonies and celebrations, we also encourage couples to consider adding a large event or wedding tent rental to their booking. A tent can help protect guests from direct sun, heat, rain, or unexpected inclement weather while still allowing couples to enjoy the outdoor setting. If weather requires a change in plans, the celebration can also be adjusted indoors using the main event space, so couples have options without needing to move guests to a separate location.
How much setup time is included, and can they purchase extra?
All setup and breakdown time must be included within the reserved rental time. This means vendor arrival, decor setup, guest arrival, the event itself, cleanup, breakdown, and vendor departure all need to take place during the booked reservation window. All guests and vendors must be fully cleared from the property by the end of the reserved time. Couples who need additional time for decor, rentals, vendor setup, or a more detailed event design are encouraged to reserve enough time in advance so the wedding day can feel smooth, relaxed, and well-paced from start to finish.
What makes your venue a favorite with couples?
Couples love that The Venue feels polished without feeling overwhelming. The space has beautiful natural light, high ceilings, warm lighting, oak floors, and indoor-outdoor flexibility, which makes it easy to design a wedding that feels personal. They also appreciate that catering, setup, service, and cleanup are handled in one place. For many couples, the biggest relief is knowing they are not piecing together every detail alone. They have a beautiful space, delicious food, and a qualified team helping bring the day together.
Are couples required to provide wedding insurance?
Yes. Couples are required to provide a Certificate of Insurance with a minimum of $1,000,000 in coverage, listing The Venue as the insured. The COI must be submitted no later than 14 days before the event date. This helps protect the couple, their vendors, and The Venue while ensuring all event requirements are completed before the wedding day.
What other types of events does the venue host?
In addition to weddings and receptions, The Venue hosts vow renewals, quinceañeras, sweet sixteens, bridal showers, baby showers, engagement parties, anniversaries, birthdays, surprise parties, retirement parties, family reunions, galas, fundraisers, benefit events, community celebrations, corporate events, holiday parties, award banquets, luncheons, seminars, workshops, meetings, and conferences.
Best piece of advice for couples planning a wedding.
Choose a venue that supports the way you want the day to feel, not just the way you want it to look. Beautiful photos matter, but flow matters just as much. Think about how guests arrive, where they gather, how they move from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception, how dinner is served, and how much you want to manage on the wedding day. The right venue should give you confidence, clarity, and room to enjoy your own celebration.
Tell us about a memorable story from a recent event.
One of the most memorable parts of hosting events at The Venue is watching guests step into the room and immediately understand the couple’s vision. At a recent celebration, the couple wanted the day to feel elegant, comfortable, and family-centered. Guests moved easily between the indoor and outdoor areas, took photos around the property, gathered over food, and filled the room with the kind of energy that makes an event feel personal rather than staged. Those are the moments we love most: when the logistics disappear into the background and the couple can simply enjoy the people who came to celebrate them.
How many weddings do you host per day/weekend?
The Venue hosts only one event at a time. This allows each couple to have a more private, focused experience without sharing the property with another wedding or event. Availability depends on the date, event timing, and reserved rental window, but during your booked time, the space is dedicated to your celebration.
What is one thing couples always tell you after the wedding?
Couples often tell us they felt relieved. They love that the space looked beautiful, the food was handled, the room flowed well, and the team helped manage the details behind the scenes. The biggest compliment is when a couple says they were actually able to enjoy their wedding instead of feeling like they had to run it.
Can couples or vendors ever drop off decor items the day before or pick them up the next day?
All decor setup and breakdown must take place within the reserved rental time. For simple tabletop items, such as centerpieces, couples may have a family member, friend, or member of the wedding party drop them off on the day of the event. If needed, our team can place the centerpieces on the tables for them. Couples may also choose to set up their own centerpieces during their reserved rental time, before guests arrive. Any larger decor installations, specialty rentals, floral designs, signage, or vendor-led setup must be planned within the booked reservation window.
