It gives us great pleasure to introduce this week’s venue spotlight, Rachel Doyle of Rachel Doyle Photography.
When people ask “what do you do?” how do you answer?
I am a wedding photographer!
What did you do before you did this?
Lots of things! I have been a diamond consultant, a food and beverage manager, and worked at a florist.
When did you get into the wedding industry?
I photographed my first wedding in 2008, so over 10 years!
What is your favorite thing about what you do? What’s your WHY?
Creating lifetime keepsakes of such an important event is my favorite thing! Photographs can bring you back to an instant in time that you would have easily forgotten without them.
What’s the best part of your job?
I love connecting with the bride and groom and witnessing all the love they share between each other, their friends, and family.
What motivates you to do this every day?
I love my job! That is what motivates me! Working hard for my brides, grooms, and their families to deliver an amazing product and experience is my motivation.
What fun fact would people be surprised to learn about you?
I love yoga! It helps find balance with work, life, and family as well as keeps me feeling great on long wedding days!
What is the best compliment you’ve received from your clients?
I am so appreciative of all of my client’s compliments but must say this one was awesome: “I highly recommend Rachel for your wedding day because she becomes family by the end of the night and I don’t know what we would have done without her!!”
How did you decide on the name of your company?
Easy! It’s my name!
What is important for clients to know about your company before they book you?
It is important for clients to understand how much time is needed to create beautiful images that they will have forever. We are happy to work with our couples on their timeline to ensure they have the time they need to get the images they want.
What types of events do you specialize in?
We specialize in wedding and engagement photography.
What makes your business stand out from others in your category?
We like to stand out from other businesses by offering awesome customer service and building relationships with our clients.
Tell us about your favorite type of engaged couple.
My favorite type of engaged couple are ones that are fun, genuinely sweet, and just happy to be together!
Why do couples hire you?
Couples hire me for my style, my communication to make the photography process as easy as possible, and because I am so nice (and awesome!).
What does your most popular package include? What is the price range for most packages?
My most popular collection is our Deluxe Collection and it includes 7 hours of wedding day coverage, 2 photographers, and an engagement session.
All of our photography collections include edited digital images and 2 photographers. Our collections range from 6-9 hours and can be fully customized. Our prices range from $2400-$3600.
Why do you think your business is successful?
I think we are successful because we try and get to know what our clients want and then over deliver on what their expectations are.

What are the most common questions you get asked by brides and/or grooms?
Will you be the one photographing my wedding? Yes! I will be photographing your big day!
Can we see the full galleries of a few of your recent weddings? Absolutely! We are happy to share entire galleries so you know what to expect from us!
What do you think are the biggest misconceptions that people have about your vendor category?
I think the biggest misconception in our industry is the number of hours spent on our end to deliver the final product to our clients. Many hours go into getting ready for your big day, capturing the event, and then editing beautiful photos.
Name three unique venues that you enjoy working at and why.
I enjoy working at Highland Manor because it’s gorgeous, there are endless spaces for great photos and the staff is amazing!
The Alfond Inn is a favorite of mine too! It is modern, beautiful, full of art, and the food is stellar!
The Maitland Art & History Museum is an incredible venue with so much history and so many fun places for photos!
