We have a passionate team of organized planners who will be there with our clients until the last detail of their momentous occasion. We work with the finest vendors in our area and specialize in creating unique, personalized experiences from even the most abstract concepts.
What is your favorite thing about what you do? What’s your WHY?
The look on our client’s faces, when their dream wedding comes together, is priceless. We embrace out-of-the-box ideas & take pride in making the ‘impossible’ happen. Our goal is to ensure that our couples have the smoothest experience throughout the whole process. We recognize that it may feel overwhelming at times, however, our team is ready to assist our couples in every step of the planning process. We are motivated by knowing how special these times are and we are able to ensure our couple’s aspirations are fulfilled every step of the way.
What is the best compliment you have received from your clients?
One of the best compliments we have received was from a bride that had initially given up on the concept of a wedding and was considering eloping due to her indecisiveness on how to plan for her special day. She felt like she was going to miss out on not having a wedding day, but didn’t know where to start. After spending time searching for a reliable wedding planning company, she reached out to us and explained her situation. She trusted our team to understand and handle her wedding aspirations.
We were so pleased to hear that our bride had the most amazing experience from start to finish. She told us that, “from set up, to break down, and everything in between, they [aVenue Wedding Group] ensured I didn’t have to worry about anything but having a great time”. With over 21 exclusive venues in Orlando, we create some of the most memorable experiences. We have managed 2000+ events across the nation & foresee many more in the incoming years.
What is one of the features of why couples choose your venue?
The Wellvue is such a versatile & expansive venue that can fit the needs of all different couples. The commons area is the perfect space to have a wedding ceremony with gorgeous lighting and vaulted ceilings. Our couples have access to numerous spaces to hold the reception, cocktail hour, and other enhancements for the special day. There is a balcony overlooking our outdoor garden space that is perfect for stepping away for a moment of tranquility. We tell our clients that the best way to understand the magnificence of our venue is to tour the 80,000 sq ft of space!

What trends have you seen at weddings that you personally like the most?
We love the limited or no phone ceremony rule! While it is important for the wedding attendees to take a few snapshots here and there, you don’t want the photographer to capture an abundance of electronic devices in the ceremony crowd!
The best piece of advice to reduce stress in the planning process.
While we understand that there are a lot of things that need to be accomplished to ensure you live out your dream wedding, it is important to enjoy this process as much as possible! Your wedding is about you and your partner. You and your partner should take breaks from the planning process and reconnect. This may involve taking a weekend trip for a change of scenery or having a date night with no wedding talk. Take a few deep breaths and put things into perspective- before you know it, you will be saying your “I dos” and that is what matters the most!

-Does this venue have a kitchen and are catering services provided?
-Are their tables, linens, and chairs included at the venue?
-Are there ample outlets for your entertainment needs?
-Does the venue have a setup and clean-up crew?
What’s a tip for couples as they are navigating the planning process?
Keep your favorite people involved with the process! Your closest confidants can help with some details up until your special day. Your loved ones can give you advice on what they liked about their wedding day or they can just be there to support you when the stress elevates. When it comes down to the final decisions, make sure you and your partner are choosing details that reflect your taste as a couple- it is your day after all!
What can couples do to combat nerves on the wedding day?
While there may be wedding day nerves, there are so many ways to handle them! Depending on the couple, we recommend pre-ceremony: meditation, quiet time in a calm space, & constant mindfulness. We have even seen couples book an early yoga class before they get ready for their special day!
Overall, when things become too much, take a deep breath and use gratitude to relish in the present – one step at a time. This is your special day, enjoy every moment of it!
