Urban Loft Wedding Inspiration – Styled Shoot

Have you been searching the internet and every wedding planning magazine you can get your hands on for the perfect urban loft wedding inspiration? If you’re looking to be inspired, this shoot is nothing less than perfect for that role. Hear from Grace at Grace Jicha Creative who put together this Urban Loft Wedding Inspiration shoot showcasing nine different vendors!

What was the theme for the shoot?

We wanted to mix spring pastels with the more urban space and opted for pinks and blue of soft bright accents.

Reasons for choosing the venue:

Venue at The Block is a new venue near us so I wanted to work with them! I loved the exposed brick and unique outside since it’s a former warehouse!

The Details:

One thing that I love about styled shoots is the sense of community and collaboration! I always tell my couples that other vendors are like our coworkers as self-employed people and solopreneurs. On a real wedding day, I typically don’t get to chat with vendors much. I truly have built my closest vendor relationships at styled shoots, and that working relationship translates well on wedding days for our couples, plus it just makes my job so much more fun!

Tell us the story and inspiration behind the shoot.

We were inspired by the look of the venue and really based our shoot off of that. We chose to use lots of bright colors to brighten up the space since it’s indoors.

Can you describe what you provided for the shoot?

As the photographer, I got to really watch everything come to life both at the shoot and afterward during the editing process! I edit very true to life and bright with film-inspired influences and enjoyed watching everything come together.

What would this look cost if a couple asked you to provide it for a wedding?

Weddings start at $3000 for local (Tampa/Lakeland) work, $3500 for non-local FL.

Hear from the vendors:

Venue at the Block

Our venue provided the perfect location to create the team’s “urban loft” appeal, furnished with our wooden tables and black metal chairs. Venue at The Block is over 5,000sqft of A/C indoor reception space equipped with many bathrooms, a built-in bar, catering prep kitchen, private parking, and an outdoor ceremony location with a cocktail terrace.

We are a fully renovated venue, with a rich history in our exposed brick walls, vaulted rafter ceilings, and original metal-framed glass windows. We offer different rates based on different needs for each event. Every event includes our tables and chairs, with a weekday starting price of $4,500.

Custom Creations Boutique

I designed a set of custom stationery including an invitation suite and menus. Color plays a big factor in my work. I used the mood board provided as well as photos of the space to incorporate color into one cohesive look.

Everything I create is 100% custom per event. There is no one set price per package etc. I would estimate that for about 100 people, this suite would cost about $1500.

All Brides 2 Be

We provided the complete tuxedo ensemble for the groom. We were given a color scheme for the shoot and earth tones were the colors for the groom. It is $229.95 for the complete rental (coat, pants, vest, shirt, tie, cufflinks, and shoes).

All Brides 2 Be

We provided the unique wedding gown from one of our beloved designers. Beaded floral lace appliques swim all over this sensual and refined boho wedding dress covering the entire fit-and-flare silhouette with lavish, subtly sparkling detail. A classic V Neckline frames the face beautifully, complemented by matching removable off-shoulder sleeves with tassels, that can be attached to the original spaghetti strap style. It is priced at $1215.

Arden Bridal & Boutique

We provided makeup and hair services. We were inspired by the dazzling boho details of the gown along with the bride’s beautiful textured tresses. This look would cost $1250 for a real wedding.

Designs By Laconic

For this shoot, we brought our boho double arches, our newest champagne wall, gold acrylic engraved place cards, an acrylic table number, as well as a copper framed acrylic welcome sign.

You will hear us preach over and over again that we think every design should be unique to a couple’s style. Our approach takes away that point and chooses catalog and instead we take the time to consult concept, and then create. We generally pull inspiration from shapes, color schemes, and natural elements while keeping in mind the pillars of color, texture, dimensional accents, lighting, and the overall goal of aesthetic style for each event.

Because we take away a point and choose system, we create a situation where every piece we do choose is either fully custom or customized. All pricing is based on these customizations.

Flowerchild Florist

We provided all the florals. The mood board was sent over and we went from there. We went with a modern, whimsical feel for our flower choices and designs.

All our weddings are custom and vary in price based on design and floral choices. Our full-service packages start at $4500.

Bloom and Grow Events

I coordinated with Grace and different vendors in the area to participate in this shoot. I made a timeline and was at the venue the whole duration, assisting the models + other vendors with whatever they needed! I loved the simplicity and the beauty behind this industrial yet romantic look. It really brought a sense of nature and peace.

I have several packages to offer when providing a service to couples in our area. If I were starting from beginning to end planning, my full-service planning package is $4500.
