It’s Spotlight Tuesday, where we introduce you to incredible Orlando wedding venues and share the stories behind these companies who help Wedding Venue Map couples have their best wedding day.
Hiring the right wedding venue is so important on your wedding day. The venue is the backdrop of every moment, every picture, and every memory.
It gives us great pleasure to introduce this week’s venue spotlight, Jacqueline Whitehead of Blue View Event Barn.
When and how did you get into the wedding industry?
We own a beautiful farm and have been doing U-pick blueberries for many years. Our customers were always asking us if we had ever considered hosting events. This inspired us to build our barn venue and now we love welcoming people to our farm for their weddings and other special events. Our first wedding reception was a U-pick customer!
What is your favorite thing about what you do? What’s your WHY?
I really love showing off the venue to the couples who come for tours. It’s fun to meet their families and hear the stories of their relationship. It is such a joyful time and everyone is so excited about the upcoming wedding. There are a lot of ideas flowing and it’s fun to be a part of that happy atmosphere. I love knowing that our barn will be the location of such a wonderful day, full of love and memories.
What is the best compliment you’ve received from your clients?
My clients consistently tell me that they love the flexibility of our venue. We are very accommodating and try hard to make sure that whatever they are looking for is available. We allow them to plan their event using the vendors they choose and help them to include the things that matter most to them.
How did you decide on the name of your company?
Since our barn is on a blueberry farm you truly do have a “Blue View” over the farm with the blueberry bushes and the blue sky! Also, we liked the way it rhymes. 🙂
What is important for clients to know about your company before they book you?
It is important to know that we are a rustic venue with a classy appeal. Our barn is not decorated with a country theme; it is very neutral so that they are able to create the look that they want. They can drape the entire barn with fabric and turn it into a chic event or just add a few touches and go with a simple look.
What is the most unique service/product you offer?
Our open-air wedding chapel is located within our blueberry bushes. It is unique to be able to exchange your vows in the middle of a blueberry farm.
What does your most popular package include? Tell us briefly about some of your package options. What is the price range for these packages?

We would like more info on your venue please. We’re looking to get married in February of 2019 and wondering if you had any dates available? .I’m a fire fighter paramedic and wondering if you had any first responder discounts?
Thank you,
