The absolute perfect day.
Tamara was wonderful from the get go. She made the entire wedding planning process so easy. The package when booking your wedding with Margaritaville includes almost everything you need and for the pieces you need to fill Tamara had incredible recommendations and we used everyone she suggested.
The planning process was seamless and zero stress which as a bride was exactly the planning process I was hoping for.
The day off was absolute perfect. The staff was wonderful in making me and my husband and our guests feel so tended to and taken care of. Our guests are still raving about everything from the food to the reception DJ. It was truly everything my husband and I were hoping for in our wedding day. Thank you Tamara and team for everything!!

We had our wedding at this venue and cannot say enough wonderful things about the entire experience. From the very beginning of the planning process to the final moments of our big day, everything was handled with such care, professionalism, and attention to detail.

What truly set this experience apart, though, was working with Tamara, the Events Coordinator. She was nothing short of exceptional. Tamara is incredibly organized, responsive, and always one step ahead, which made the entire planning process smooth and stress-free. She took the time to understand our vision, respected every detail, and made sure our wedding reflected exactly who we are as a couple.

What stood out the most, and something that meant the world to us, was Tamara’s cultural awareness and sensitivity. We incorporated several cultural traditions into our ceremony and reception, and Tamara not only welcomed them with enthusiasm, but knew about our traditions with depth. We are Palestinian from the Middle East, and for comparison, nearly every other venue in Orlando would send us the “Southeast Asian” package when they hear we are Palestinian. At Gaylord, after correcting the Event Sales rep multiple times (she kept referring to us as Pakistani versus Palestinian even though we corrected her 3-4 times), and at 2-3 times the cost, it was a no-brainer that we needed someone who was culturally aware. Tamara worked closely with our families to ensure every tradition was honored respectfully and authentically, and she did so with such grace and understanding. It was clear she genuinely cared about making everyone feel included and celebrated.

Our tradition is a Henna and a Wedding Reception (a 2 day event). We initially wanted 2 different locations, one for each event. My wife was set on one or two specific locations. I “shopped around” and almost jokingly called Margaritaville (alcohol themed resort for a Palestinian culture that prohibits alcohol) to see what other venues offered to do comparisons. Not only was Margaritaville less expensive, the meal options were better, the ballroom was nicer than every other ballroom we saw in person (we saw about 15 other ballrooms), the resort was better, and the Team there actually ensured every little nuance to our vision was attainable without more than an inquiry to their team where we had an almost opposite experience everywhere else. Margaritaville made us feel like they were lucky to have our business, while other venues made us feel like we were lucky that they took 15 minutes out of their day to see the resort and ball room. In the end, we hosted both events at Margaritaville AND the price for both days came in less expensive than most competitors for a single day event.

Our guests are still talking about how beautiful and seamless everything was—and we know that wouldn’t have been possible without Tamara’s leadership and dedication.

If you’re looking for a venue that not only delivers stunning spaces and top-notch service but also has a true professional like Tamara at the helm with her dedicated team, look no further. We are so grateful for everything Margaritaville did to make our 2 day event unforgettable!

So happy we chose Margaritaville Resort for our wedding. From the moment we met Lissette, we know we were in good hands. She was always available to meet or answer questions and was there for us from the planning to the rehearsal dinner, to the wedding to the Sunday morning brunch. The resort was perfect for our many out of town guests who felt like they had a weekend away, enjoying the pool and the Caribbean vibe of the resort. Thanks to Lauren and Gissele who helped many of our guests with their hotel arrangements and were always quick to increase our room block. The food was delicious and our guests loved the outside cocktail hour. The day of coordinator, Michelle, was efficient and her positive, upbeat attitude made the wedding day go as smoothly as possible. Margaritaville is a beautiful venue for a wedding and the professionalism of Lissette and Michelle made our wedding a special day for us and for all who came to celebrate with us!

\”Our wedding day was a dream come true\” … not all brides can say that. It truly was amazing ….. the Banquet and Event team at Margaritaville Resort Orlando did a fantastic job of making our vision a reality. Our event planner, Lissette Ellis was always available to meet with us or answer any vendor related questions we had from the planning stage to execution on the day of the event.

Our wedding was no easy task for them as we had 75% of our attendees coming in from the Caribbean and other states. The resort did not see that as a challenge but provided us with a a block of rooms at a special rate for our friends and family to enjoy our special weekend. Even our entertainment, Dil E Nadan flew in from Trinidad to perform at our wedding. The resort allowed us to introduce cultural performances and delicacies and worked with us to transform the patio deck into a taste of the Caribbean.

The venue also felt like a tropical resort and our guests all felt like they were on a getaway weekend! They\’re even planning to return this year and are demanding a reunion party to celebrate us one year later!

My husband and I enjoyed every moment planning our wedding with this amazing team at Margaritaville and we can\’t wait to return to celebrate our one year anniversary soon.

We were beyond thrilled with our wedding, thanks to the incredible generosity, flexibility, and service of Margaritaville. The space was perfect for our South Asian wedding – they had a large lawn for our outdoor Sangeet and Ceremony, and a picture perfect spot for our Haldi. The huge banquet hall was perfect for our reception. They had ample indoor/outdoor spaces for our events. We loved that our guests could all stay at the hotel (with a very affordable rate) and enjoy the events all in one place. Margaritaville felt so homey and cozy. Special shoutout to Tamara and Kirk who were so accommodating during our planning process, and made sure that we felt like guests of honor throughout the weekend. They showed so much enthusiasm for our wedding. Having a venue that cares about you and is flexible to your needs was a game changer, since we could rely on them for so many needs. I highly recommend this venue.

Tamara is also the most incredible coordinator I have ever seen or worked with in my 19 years of experience in a similar line of business.
