Northwest Square is a one of a kind location to host your wedding or event. This incredible Historic Trinity Church is being lovingly restored and transformed into a multi-use venue. Offering 4 distinctive event venues for you to celebrate your union – with spaces suitable for hosting events from 20 to 200 guests and incredible in house merchants – we truly have something to offer celebrations of any size for any occasion.

With an open vendor policy, you have the flexibility to choose exactly what you want. Our beautiful venues can easily be customized with your choice of decor, but the also already look amazing as they are, allowing you to create a stunning event that aligns with your budget.

About the Owners:

Chris has lived in DeLand most of his life and grew up attending Trinity United Methodist Church with his family. He fondly remembers the vibrancy and sense of community that buzzed through the church walls when he was a kid. Sitting in the balcony on Sundays (because they were always late to church) he never dreamed one day he’d own and preserve the very same space. After years of residential real estate investment, Chris knew he wanted to do something with the building after seeing it for sale. After months of deliberating with his wife, Jessica, the concept for Northwest Square was born.

Jessica is a Realtor and thought Chris was joking when he called and told her he was interested in purchasing the Trinity Church building. Due to have a baby the next day, she wrote and submitted the offer that took almost a year to finally be accepted. Jessica is a registered dietitian and lover of good food, cold drinks, and fun parties. With Chris’s knowledge of residential real estate, the mixed-use concept of food and beverage, events, and apartments came to life.
