Pioneer Village at Shingle Creek
About Pioneer Village at Shingle Creek
Osceola County Historical Society offers a charming, rustic, and historic wedding venue. Pioneer Village at Shingle Creek is located within the Regional Park and sits on 10 acres as an open -air museum filled with historic structures which is open to the public 7 days a week, 10am-4pm. It backs up to a 60,000-acre nature preserve with century-old trees draped in Spanish moss.
Couples can host their wedding and reception at Pioneer Village with options ranging from a small intimate ceremony to a large outdoor event. The natural and historic setting also makes the perfect backdrop for engagement and wedding photos.
The Pioneer Village chapel is a replica of the historic St. Peter’s Episcopal Church built in the 1890s. The church can host up to 60 guests. Other sites on the property that can be used for a ceremony or reception include a grove of oak trees, barn, train depot, 1800s houses, and a screened pavilion. Out under the 100-year-old Live Oaks, you can host up to 200 guests to enjoy the serene back drop of Central Florida natural landscape. The Train Depot is the perfect place to host an informal cocktail hour under the stars! The screened-in pavilion hosts up to 160 guests and can be set-up however you’d like with the help of the Venue Manager or bring in a decor specialist of your choosing to make all your reception dreams come true!
Our Venue Manager is available to assist couples as they plan their special day and will be on site throughout the event.
