About Grass Campers Event Venue

Hello sweet friends and welcome to Grass Campers Event Venue. A venue with lush green pastures, grand oak trees, adorable cows and beautiful sunsets. My name is Katie and My husband Kevin and I run this family owned and operated venue.  We purchased this property in 2021 as a wedding present to each other, and began building what is now a special place for many couples in an intimate relaxing and fun setting. We greatly enjoy being part of each wedding day.

We are born and raised local central Florida residents and entertainers also known as The Grass Campers duo. We have been performing and entertaining parties and weddings together since 2018 when we met working in a band in The Villages Florida. We were instantly drawn to one another musically from the beginning which quickly blossomed into a beautiful friendship on and off the stage.

In 2021, after years of doing life together, we finally decided to tie the knot at a barn wedding in Florida. This inspired the vision of opening an event venue of our own close to home, and this is how the vision of Grass Campers Event Venue was born.

As a past bride in this fast paced world of so many choices, I will tell you that I completely understand how overwhelming the process of finding the perfect venue can be.  Our  experienced team works beside our couples to make it a pleasant process. We treat our couples like family and we are with you every step of the way through the months of planning to make it as enjoyable as it can be so that you get to soak in the memories leading up to the day and for those who hire us and get to know us can agree. This truly is our heart and soul and you all bring it life.

We built and designed this venue with a vow to be honest, helpful, transparent and affordable, while still giving our couples what they want – a wonderful day they will never forget. I can promise you the price we quote you, the service we provide you, and what we tell you we offer is exactly what you get, without any hidden fees. We go out of our way to make it as stress-free as possible.

We offer a select variety of packages from limited service options up to all inclusive options. We have built our packages on convenience, affordability, and value. Each package can be customized to fit your needs and the best part is we do not require a specific vendor list.

What is the average price range for venue rental?

Our limited services package starts $2700 on weekdays and $3500 on weekends. Our all inclusive package starts at $3650 on weekdays and $4250 on weekends

What is included in that cost?

With our limited services packages which is great for couples who already have a number of their vendors picked out, and they prefer to plan and design it on their own, or with the help of a coordinator- we include:  • 4000 sq ft covered pole barn for ceremony and or reception •Natural outdoor setting for ceremony under the oak tree • Wooden folding chairs for guest • long 8 foot tables for guest • up to 12′ ceremony benches • solar pathway lighting • 2 10 foot ceiling fans • 6 foot tall chandelier • cafe string lighting • Use of loft area for photos • 12×40  air conditioned bridal suite for bridal party • Private bathroom for bridal party • Air conditioned groomsmen den  • 3 Wedding arch options  • Greenery wall • ceremony stage• ceremony entry doors• Cake table • gift table • whiskey barrel serving tables • whiskey barrel bar tops • air conditioned restrooms for guest • Private parking for guest • 3+ event party attendants throughout the entirety of the event to oversee parking, event flow , set up, clean up, trash, bathrooms and that everything goes smoothly • Basic Event set up• rehearsal week  prior to wedding  We do also offer an all inclusive package which may be the best fit for you if you would like to be able to just show up to a wedding that is completely done for you ☺️ It includes everything listed above + •pork and chicken dinner buffet style meal with sides and rolls , or latin food options , or a full taco bar with toppings and rice and beans •charcuterie table for cocktail hour •dj •photographer •bartender (alcohol must be provided by the host)  •coordinator • event staff • drinks •cake  •decorations • and all amenities and services listed in the limited services

Does the venue provide catering and bar service? If so, what is the average cost per person?

our all inclusive packages include the charcuterie and dinner options in the package price – limited services wedding can include dinner to their packages with our catering starting at $30 a person and going up to $50 a person for dinner and charcuterie

Is there a minimum for booking?

yes, $500 deposit for limited services $1500 deposit for all inclusive weddings

Do you require wedding insurance?

yes – it averages $65 to $150 for the day depending on guest count

What does a typical wedding day look like?

We start the day giving you the time and space separately to prep in our bridal suite and grooms den, We greet your guest as they arrive and prepare them for your personalized ceremony picked by you, After the ceremony we escort you to our beautiful oak tree location for a private photo session while your guest enjoy a cocktail hour of Charcuterie and drinks, We then deliver you back into our bridal suite where you will proceed through our 8 foot French glass doors for your grand entrance to be announced, You will do your traditional or not so traditional dance together for the first time as a couple, Followed by dinner that was prepared by our catering team or the catering team you provided, From there the party begins. Our bartender will be pouring drinks and our DJ will be encouraging guest to celebrate your day with you . Our staff is with you throughout the entire day decorating, helping, organizing and cleaning so that everything is as stress- free as possible. When you book with us you are booking so much more than a venue. You are booking the experience and gaining new friends along the process.
