We love a great London proposal story, don’t you? When they told us their destination story on the famous road, we knew that we wanted to feature Jessica & Brad’s Abbey Road marriage proposal story.
Share with us when and how you met each other.
We met in April 2021 when I was hired to work at the same restaurant that Brad did. I was immediately attracted to him lol. But we immediately had a great connection and became fast friends. We loved to go out to eat at IHOP after we’d get off work at 2 am, and eventually, one thing led to another and we were quickly head over heels for each other. We always say we fell in love at Ihop!
What are your favorite things to do together as a couple?
We love to travel, binge-watch our favorite shows, hang out with our family and Brad’s sons, and try new local restaurants.
How long were you together before getting engaged?
Unofficially 2 years
Did anyone help with the Abbey Road marriage proposal?
My parents knew about it and took our pictures for us!

He proposed in the middle of Abbey Road on our vacation to London! I had been previously to Abbey Road and I am a diehard Beatles fan so it was the perfect spot! I get my love of classic rock/The Beatles from my dad and it was a bucket list place for him to visit as well so I like to think that now it’s got an even more special place in his heart :). Brad and I had been talking about getting engaged for a while so I was over the moon when it happened!
What was the best moment of the proposal?
How he thought of a location and experience that is so personal to me and my family
Who did you tell that you were engaged first?
I texted a few of my closest friends, but my dear friend Jacoba was the first to answer (time zone difference!)
Tell us about the ring!
It is EXACTLY the dream ring that I wanted! It is an oval shape with diamonds on the band. I am not normally a jewelry fan so I don’t know much else other than that, but I sure do love the ring!
Not much so far – I’m a wedding and event manager, so I’m pretty versed in what is needed to plan a wedding.

What are you most excited about wedding planning?
I’ve worked in the wedding industry for a while now, so I’m excited that after helping over 100 couples (no lie) plan their special day, it’s finally our turn!
If you’ve already decided, when are you getting married and what is your venue?
1/18/25 at The Balcony in Orlando, FL
Why did you choose that venue?
It’s so unique and beautiful. It’s a blank canvas in the best way possible – any decor that you select will look beautiful. Our Sales Manager Ashley was also super great to communicate with.

Just being realistic and practical. I know what things cost working in this industry so it’s been very important for us to be honest with each other and ourselves in necessities versus wants.
We don’t have a set theme/color scheme yet, but we have lived in Vegas going on 2 years now (nearly 4 by the time we are married) so we would love to give our family and friends back home in Florida a little taste of our life in Vegas.
Have you selected any other vendors for your wedding?
I have a few other Vegas vendors I work with that I would love to bring our to Florida for the wedding. I’ve grown up my whole life with my dad as a musician all around Florida so I definitely have a few bands/DJs I would love to have.
